Sure! I just added it, and added it to one image. You can do back-tag suggestions if you like, otherwise I'll (hopefully) get to it shortly.

its too bad this author stopped drawing yuri, could use more of his work.

They just drew the final part to this a few months ago, and their last entry on pixiv is yuri. Pretty sure boss will be back as soon as there is work for them. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I would definitely order it if I had the scratch lying around. Looks like it's already #1 in its category on Amazon though. Hopefully the comic will pick up again. It is really an amazing effort for a free comic.

This really needs to be a sticky, with a couple of additions about spam, hate speech and stuff. If could form the basis of a set of general forum guidelines. I tend to follow the philosophy that a set of general guidelines, applied at the discretion of the mod(s) is better than a lot of very specific rules.

I think in general we're sort of against rules, as I recall there used to be only one (by Casusby):

"The Discussion feature of the reader is meant to be a place where readers can talk about the contents of releases. It is not meant to be a place where you ask "WHERE IS NEXT RELEASE". Any further discussions starting, or containing such posts will be met with deletion or harsher penalties at the discretion of the admins and staff."

Others were eventually added due to very specific circumstances. That said - and especially given that we're getting a dedicated forum mod - I do agree with it. Probably best to wait till we've filled that position though (doubt it'll be long).

Suggestion: Since people like keeping track of character and creator birthdays, maybe adding a calendar application to the site might be a fun thing to do. Alternatively, a preset banner for when dates like that come up.

Oh, right. This is a magazine cover, and was endorsed by the studio, so it gets the Canon tag. Far as I remember, this isn't even the gayest one.

6 weeks later, it's been fixed to reflect the first volume's contents.

Also, I died shortly after reading this chapter (final words were something like "that preview!!"(?)), so hopefully everyone else has better luck.

The artist has a rather long commentary about her experience with Mai Hime in the source, may be worth checking out.

Personally I wasn't too surprised by the ending, the only part that I wasn't expecting was the stuff between Saki and Mayu not going as far as I expected. (Also this is totally unrelated but is there some place I can learn all the codes and stuff for the forums? That last bit should probably be spoilered but I have no idea how to do that here.)

The site uses markdown, though that link doesn't go over everything. The easiest way to learn stuff is to quote others, the code shows up in the quoted portion. Or you can always play around (and preview) with the =, `, and * keys to get most of it down. Or if you have a specific question you can head to the "Suggestions for Improvement" topic.

I went ahead and spoiler-ed the bit you mentioned, feel free to fix.

I'm not quite sure what was in the shoujoai thread (RIP), but Retro did some translation stuff on /u/ way back when, that you can find here. I think that's the gist of what was in the original thread linked.

If you plug any of the other thread links here, you might find something else worthwhile.

I don't know if it would make more sense, but we're good with it if you are! I'd like to take a couple days, if possible, before we reorganize that bit. With it still being a recent release, there's a good chance we'd lose some comments in moving it to an anthology (people not being around at the same time and stuff). I'll let you know when we've updated it.

There is one more chapter (credits to dpf for detective work). Sorry about rejecting you previously! Given that no new releases have been made in ~4 years, we'll change it to Abandoned for now.

Also, it's not coming up with any Status tags when I search for, say, On Hiatus, to change the tags. You're probably already aware of this issue, but I've only just run into it.

Didn't know that, but I don't think it's a horrible thing, actually. We can still accept the removal suggestion and then apply whatever we think is best afterward.

Oh, hm. The series is indeed complete. I had assumed that it would be listed as an anthology, though.

At the time its scanlation started, we were under the impression it was ongoing in Japan (think it ended that same month, actually), and had no idea how long it would go on, so it automatically got the series tag.

To be honest, having it as both a series and an anthology would be a bit redundant (and would clutter the Takemiya page) since the series is just the first three chapters of the anthology. Would it make more sense to just change the Game entry from a series to an anthology, rename the first three chapters (to Game First, Game Second, Game Third) and then mark as ongoing?

I'm not 100% sure about it, I'll ask for opinions. The only problem with that would be pointing each chapter to the series original forum page, but I doubt that would be much of a problem.

With chapter 3 of Takemiya Jin's Game recently uploaded, the series has been marked as complete. It's still ongoing though, since there's four more chapters, just of a different story.

We were under the impression the series ought to be marked complete, as it's now finished. The anthology page - which has not yet been created for reasons - ought to be marked ongoing, and the series/other story will both be present there.

Is that right, or are we missing something? Does everything fall under the umbrella of one series, rather than the anthology moniker...? Thanks for your diligence, as always!
