I remember them fondly, although it was a surprise to see them again after so long. Public moral officer perv making progress !

And that final page... She said she wasn't responsible, but still agreed.

Doesn't want to take her medicine
Doesn't want painkillers
Doesn't want recovery and pain-soothing magic

Well, that's pretty ominous. Senpai is either trying to avoid battle or suicidal.

I can hear a lot of alarms blaring from that ending.

On the other hand, whether she's the ex-girlfriend, love rival or experienced lesbian, she means progress.

Pretty abrupt ending, and the ending kinda lost the charm of cute but ecchi tones of the beginning. We did get one pair together, at least.

Nice read, but it could have been more.

"Your precious crush... is already going out with your best friend."

This is perfect.

Think Mizushima is gonna clue the other three about what's actually going on, or he's just going to keep enjoying the constant disaster ?

Huh huh. The villainess not knowing any magic wasn't what I expected, but it certainly makes things more interesting.

They already met, oh please let them recognize each other immediately.

Not keen on this, first the guy earns zero sympathy for his sob story. "Huhuh, I have a strong sex drive, so I'm gonna cheat on my girlfriend and cause her to frequently go get drunk and vent in a pub. Because I cherish her, of course."

He's an idiot and insensitive. Worthless as a boyfriend and as a friend. What exactly was the takeaway of this chapter ?

The worst part is that, with how Midori has been acting so far, it's very much on the table that the author wants this story to end up with a huge bait and say "he was actually a nice guy all along, so they got together again". If I wasn't dumb, I'd drop this until the rest of the chapters are released, and we know how it ends.

It's adorable how those two aren't really dating, but they are on the same wavelength, and there's zero tension about it. A very atypical kind of day-to-day romance story.

Kasumi misunderstanding Hino and interpreting her question as whether she wants to bring her romance to the office was adorkable. Very like her.

This may be me reading too deeply into things and/or imposing personal beliefs/experiences on the story and characters but as an example, Natori puts Diana on a pedestal as "her favorite", as in she's still just a character from the game to her

I think this somewhat reflects Diana's view of "Natalie" as well. She wants to protect her, but has shown very little understanding of what Natori is looking for, what makes her happy. In this chapter again, what made Natori's heart beat for Lapis wasn't saving her, it was telling her that she has the strength and value to learn to love herself.

This issue has been going on since they first met, and Diana does not seem to realize it (at least in both this chapter and chapter 5, she's looking at Lapis with a blank stare, but doesn't seem to understand why Natori is choosing her). I'm pretty sure it's on purpose, though. As the heroine, Diana was "written" as someone the story will write itself around for her convenience, not someone who realizes what someone else is going through.

If this is going to go away, it would probably be through Lapis herself. She is knowledgeable and seems genuinely intent on helping Diana to learn more things. I really, really wish we had more interactions between Lapis and Diana because those two characters really complement each other.

Kase still doesn't see anything wrong with what she's done. She's even making fun of Yamada's reaction... And Fukami should have seen the hickey, but still doesn't reconsider anything and insted moves forward with her confession.

I thought I was reading Yamada to Kase-san, turns out I actually got lost in Kuzu no Honkai.

Queen : There is no need to be bound by old customs, and we didn't even plan to marry her.

Well, looking at how she doesn't give a fuck about being separated from her own lover but now suddenly makes light of it all, it seems like that girl was quite lucky. Queen is a bitch and didn't care about her lover at all.

Aw grandma got class Sd

feelsbad. Well, I guess it's nice that they're still friends and, based on what we saw of them, we can probably suppose that she didn't want more in the first place.

But! Watanabe, if you end up in the same situation with Yoshioka, I'm gonna travel to the manga world to kick your ass into a time portal so that you get it right.

Yeah it's honestly a really good albeit depressing reason as to why Mayne does everything she does

At least that part is shown in a flashback and quickly over. It can be frustrating when the pacing or timing makes it hard to move on from the more depressing parts of a story. Being able to immediately reconnect with the "now" gives her story depth without making the reading experience excessively unpleasant.

So we've got a villainess who doesn't care about either of the MCs, and her love interest who isn't part of the academy. I'm going to be laughing if the two main characters of the original story just don't play a role at all.

I've read a few stories with this sort of lesbian double-transmigration premise and I'm all for another, especially with this art.

Any recs ? The only double-transmigration I can think of are After School Re-Reincarnation (kind of a special case) and that one very NSFW doujin, but this trope sounds too wonderful to ignore the potential for more.

Ultimately, as others have mentioned, Shiki's current angle of "oh she's just like this" is toxic too (or at least that's how I interpreted her recent takes), but that doesn't justify Mariya's methods.

Mariya's approach might not have worked, but it rose from Koto's own expression of a desire to change. It's not like she forced Koto, she gave her a push that she objectively needs for Koto to try and pursue her own desires.

And while it didn't work as they hoped, we see now that it wasn't completely pointless, as Koto was able to reflect on herself, to think of her future, and to reconnect with Mariya. All being far more progress than she's ever made with her other friends.

In that aspect, I'd say Shiki's angle is far worse, because she's just discouraging Koto. If she was happy with her current self, that might be mostly fine (although with some issues of not being self-sufficient), but when Koto actually desires and is trying to change, having a friend telling her that she shouldn't is terribly destructive and demoralizing.

I actually really like the "trophy wife" line from Mariya. After realizing that her previous approach didn't work, Mariya neither gave up nor decided to hold her hand. Instead, she told Koto that she'd be there to support her, but putting it in a way that, even to Koto's low self-esteem, was too self-deprecating. It's like a safety net, telling Koto that even if she fails, there will be someone for her, but also making her want not to use that safety net and manage things by herself.

While this, in itself, isn't going to solve Koto's problems, it at least gives her hope to have someone by her side even in the worst case scenario.

She got rejected twice... Well, yeah. When you go and try to use a fight as an excuse to kiss your crush's sister who already has a girlfriend and hope she'll choose you... It's hardly surprising that with a personality like that, she's still single.

I'm glad Ritsu and Kyouko made up, because good things happening on the positive side is the best, but also that the senpai is, hopefully, out of the picture. Being nice and helping them make up with each other doesn't erase that her actions in the previous chapter were wrong.

Kyouko is such a sweetheart to have let things go like that and to have made up, and even forgiven her senpai. I hope Ritsu will learn to cherish her gem of a girlfriend more.

I understand and like that the author is trying to make all the men seem very nice ™️

Both the brother and customers were all super nice, I don't think it was necessary to redeem the ex-boyfriend, though. Not when they broke over very obvious cheating, which was clearly weighing on her that she frequently ended up drunk and was looking for a place to vent.

Well, this is a story, not a recounting of events, so everything happens for a reason and because the author wanted to include it. And I don't think it was written, from the start, with an intent to make light of the cheating, otherwise it wouldn't have been the set-up for the first chapter. I'm still worried about what the reason is here, though, and how it will be resolved.

And given time, their hearts to can link, closing the loop.

I mean, that could happen, but there's really no sign of it for now. They're both falling for the MC (assuming Diana is in love, which remains to be confirmed) while barely caring about each other.

people really need to stop calling every V-shaped relationship where two love interests like/date the same person but not each other a Harem

Makes no difference, it's still an imbalanced relationship with two characters dating a single person, who is dating two. If that's fine with someone, then there's no reason for harems not to be fine for them as well. And vice-versa, if someone doesn't want to see a harem, they won't want to see a "V-shaped relationship" either.

Not saying it's not fine, but there's definitely a public who doesn't want that kind of story. Which is why it's a tag, after all.

I do wish we had a few more examples of actual threesomes, though. There are some, but not enough.

Why are you against threesome ?

There is zero chemistry between Diana and Lapis. Not even the shadow of a chance of a threesome route from here, only harem if they go in that direction.

You know I should dislike Diana because she's trying to come between our two leads. But I think she's super sweet

I feel the same. I like her character, which is adorable, yet not her role. Although I do hope she'll remain no more than a close friend. At the same time, if we're talking about her role, given Lapis and Natori's personalities, Diana will eventually do something for sure.

Will the MC end up seducing the Prince or will he be an enemy?

A guy whose introduction is a princess carry of the MC ? An enemy to the readers, at least, for sure.
