It is not even attempted rape. Being pushy but ultimately stopping when someone says no is, like, the opposite of rape. Can we stop misusing the word? We don't need to go around branding people who stop when told to stop as rapists.

...anyway, now we have a new chapter that shows it didn't even work properly because Watanabe is an emotionally damaged brick. Yoshioka remains the star, and I think she's probably a bodybuilder, carrying the whole damn plot like she is. The cuts in this chapter were kind of jarring and it wasn't clear what happened with the conversation between Sara and Fuyu until she rematerialised (literally, lol) in the end of the scene.

As far as the flashback ghost, I suspect some kind of abuse/gaslighting happened where Fuyu liked Mika but was told that she's a mob and should only watch or something.

Uh oh. Faceless girls in flashbacks are never a good sign. They either thoughtlessly destry protaginst's dream with a few words or maliciously make their lives hell with bigotry. I am kind of glad they didnt get together officially. Sometimes you can crave the affections of a person without the pressure of a relationship. And it would be too much like that other story in this volume.

Seriously "Useless" should be a tag of its own.
