Why must good things be so short.

I've noticed a trend too. They're becoming shorter and shorter as time passes. Have we passed peak yuri? Will we have to find new sources of clean, sustainable, renewable yuri? The price of a barrel of yuri is on the rise. What does this mean for future generations? We get to gorge ourselves on chapters and volumes for now, but what will we do when all that's left is stray pages and panels? Sure, we can count on finding new yuri reserves in the short term, but we need to have a plan for when the yuri runs dry.

You done did it now, girl.
This is the moment where you pump the broken brake pedal and realize the rest of this ride is going to be very memorable.

Wew. Would have had more impact i'd known the characters for more than 27 panels.

Ena did it! All bow to the Apex drama yuri protag. Take a moment to appreciate how easily she slayed some really severe angst. Miracle worker! Fixed that broken girl like she was reading a manual. If she was a mechanic, she could restore a totaled car to factory specs. I'm hyped right now. Ena for president!

Harumin and Matsuri are so perfect for each other, it hurts.

This is probably one of like 3 manga I've ever read that I feel is distinctly /important/ to share with others, not just powerful and meaningful, but like something I feel like I have some responsibility to share to other people to either help them or teach them. Idk.

I know what you mean. This manga is a cut above the rest. It's way beyond the level of other yuri and yaoi manga. The realistic portrayal of homosexual characters, and their realistic problems and feelings is something you almost never see done so craftily well in other works. All of this coupled with the amazing art, and unique storytelling. I honestly think it's a masterpiece. Not just within its genre, but of manga as a whole.

Wow, she's a really caring sadist.
You don't see that too often.
Taking it easy with the breath-play because of how risky it is. Very responsible.
BDSM done with love is the best.

That guy is living dangerously though. Courting two women is a good way to end up with none.

Oh geez. All this cuteness to soften the emotional blow of chapter 36.

The "I'll play around for a bit, but I like guys" thing is suck a cockblock... How is that in any way necessary... It's not yuri then... just some tease

Finding new love and moving on from a bad crush.

She didn't even hesitate to grab that boob!
Komaki is something else.

welp that was creepy in the non-consensual rape kinda way

Being a little pushy is not rape. There's literally nothing wrong with a little verbal propositioning. Hishikawa hasn't crossed the line when pushed back by Komaki. If you pay attention, it's obvious Komaki is the one in control at all times. The part where Komaki was actually assaulted was all in Hishikawa's imagination. Sorry for the rant, but people who call every little thing rape seriously bother me. No offense.

Oh dear. She might be the stabbing type. Keep an eye on that girl. No way she isn't dangerous.

Ena must have anti-drama antibodies in her blood or something.
She's just too good at undoing angst.
This girl is a damn miracle.

Wow, sexual slavery and child prostitution. I just wish there were no such things and no such stories in the humanity history...

Sexual slavery is a strong term, and something of an overstatement in this case. Courtesans in old Japan were treated relatively well for their line of work, and served almost exclusively the rich and royal. Aside from being forced to have sex every so often, they lived quite luxuriously compared to the peasants they were most often born to.

The first panel of the last page sums up my thoughts on this series quite well.

Urgh.. Here comes the obligatory "fight" part of the story.. I thought Ena was supposed to break that cliche, but I guess that's too much to hope for.

Well it's kind of hard to keep your confidence when someone drops a lover-died-from-suicide bomb on you while flashing their cutting scars in front of your face. She just got a little shook. Ena will bounce back for sure.
