On the plus side, it's still a very popular series, so it doesn't seem likely to get cancelled soon.

Depending on how fast volume 2 gets translated, it may be another year wait for volume 3 to start.

There were some issues with scanning (and the digital copy doesn't come out for another week or so), so there've been some delays, but those seem to have been resolved, so there should be more before too long.

It's not really that she forgot how. She's just really shy about that stuff. It's kind of shown in a later chapter that she became a lot more aggressive after meeting her girlfriend, and having forgot that experience, it's taking a while for her to get over her shyness and get back there.

I couldn't find a bugs/error topic...when I hit resize to zoom for some reason it like crops, cuts off, or makes the next page button disappear! I dunno if its a script error or what? This happens when im reading from my phone...

There seem to be a few issues like that with the mobile version of the site.

For example, on my phone's browser, the "mark as read" button gets placed down a row, and the topic list gets displayed in front of it. Making it impossible to mark the forums as read unless I tilt to landscape mode.

While she does do a lot of teasing, she also does the most to help push Bocchi forward.

I don't think we've ever seen a male student at Bocchi's school, but that doesn't rule out the presence of male faculty.

The bonus chapter at the end of volume 1 shows she has at least two male classmates.

As a side note, there's this other manga titled "Furara Hitori de Dekimasen" (Furara Can't Do It By Herself) that is vaguely similar to Bocchi in concept, in that it also stars a character with extreme social anxiety who can't handle doing things on her own. But I couldn't even enjoy it because every situation ends with the other characters giving in and fixing the problem for her. And that's something that I think sets Bocchi apart for me, not just from Furara, but from pretty much every other series that deals with any sort of social anxiety (I'm looking at you watamote) or hikikomori.

Although somewhat cutesified, it's a fairly accurate depiction of social anxiety, but beyond and above that, it shows her seriously working to overcome it, and (here's what really sets it apart) the characters don't enable her behavior, never force her, but actively support her and aide her in doing all these things on her own, so that she's actually able to grow.

This series is actually a really good guide on how to handle friends with social anxiety.

Though Kai's method is a bit too extreme... (But it was the push Bocchi needed, and I doubt anything else would have done it, so I'm conflicted.)

The one time Nako did actually get jealous, things got kind of ugly.

She's been a troll since the very first chapter. The majority of the second chapter was solely about her trolling Bocchi.

That kind of lessened when Aru came along for her to troll so much more easily, but she's still always going after Bocchi.

I don't recall seeing anyone post any more details on the end aside from claiming it's a "friendship ending".

It's not so much a law as something the publishers self-enforce to avoid complaints. Especially publishers whose target demographics include minors.

Many of the TV restrictions are similar; not law, but self-enforced by broadcasters.

I don't know what exactly will happen if blood is microwaved, but I think it might be related to food sanitation issue. Well, I don't think that would be a big problem since she buys blood by online shopping. There might exist some kind of supply infrastructure that conveys freshly donated human bloods to end consumers like Sophie. Or she could drink blood extracted from animals other than human, like cow. I dunno. :)

I don't know how it works in Japan, but in the US blood collection and transfusion is a pretty huge deal from a legal and medical standpoint. You can't just hop on Amazon and order blood, even animals'.

Then again, the universe in the story has had vampires living cordially amongst humans for large portions of history, so maybe trade in blood is a little more lax over there. I kind of like to imagine Sophie and other vampires having some kind of federally-recognized blood consumption license.

You're all thinking way too hard about a series whose entire plot is basically just a series of lampshades.

Trying to change who you are and make a debut has no meaning in the second year, because everyone already knows you. So trying to do so would be pretty foolish. And immature.

Based on the clearly-defined adam's apple, the broad shoulders, and the position in the story as a counterpart to Hazuki, I think it's pretty clear it's meant to be a flamboyantly homosexual man.

Just a typo. Already fixed it on our own reader. Dynasty has a lot of the older stuff with typos and is missing chapters that I updated to coloured version.

He's introduced exclusively in the spinoff as the person who interviewed Aoba. Because it couldn't be Hazuki's team interviewing her, what with Hazuki sneaking in to spy on her.

So he took the chance to give a peek at the other production line Eagle Jump has.

I kind of want to see the BL spinoff featuring the other production team.

The digital raws have really shitty resolution, making them really blurry on upscale.
I had to go dig up my actual copies of the magazine to even read some of the smaller text (such as the notebook cover).

Magazine chapters will also occasionally have mistakes that get fixed in the volume release. There actually is a typo in the Japanese of one of the next chapters. Outside of typos, art can also get touched up. Making the volume the definitive version.

Plus, you get the alternate endings to the chapters, and what's Bocchi without those?

I wish we could have waited to do a proper job of the release.
