Yeah, that's the one. I recall liking it, but yeah, it's not very yuri-ish. Interestingly, however, the manga is listed in the Girls' Love section of Ebook Japan (along with Kodomo no Jikan, but let's not talk about that...).

If it's the one I know by the name of Joshikousei, it's an enjoyable watch, but doesn't have much yuri, though I recall there was some subtext.

I like that she's shown up a few times aside from the original story. It'd be fun if she eventually became somewhat of a regular, though that's probably not very likely.

It is. While certainly present, the yuri is mostly played for cuteness, and isn't very direct. Still, a very fun and enjoyable anime, I think.

My personal thoughts of the ones mentioned by Cannibal and others above...

Sakura Trick is a great watch, if you don't mind super cutesy stuff.
Inugami-san and Nekoyama-san is short, but hilarious and yuritastic.
Kanamemo has a lesbian couple, but their relationship isn't really in focus (although they do flirt a lot).
The Aoi Hana anime is alright, although it feels like an incomplete story (which it is). I personally wouldn't recommend the manga.

The others, I haven't seen, or seen fully.

I think a lot of people (regardless of gender) can get off on either situation, tbh. Just because you like being in control, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy having the tables turned on you, and just because you like to be dominated, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy feeling powerful or making someone else feel weak.

Out of curiosity, what was the original word you translated as "vamp" in Kaoru's description on the vol. 6 character sheet? I found it to be an amusingly fitting description of her, but I couldn't think of what specific word it might have been (maybe 肉食系女子?). I unfortunately only have the individual chapter raws, and not the full volumes, so I can't check myself...

I'm not sure what it's about at all. I live in Sweden, and it won't let me purchase anything. A friend lives in Canada, and can purchase things just fine. Another friend lives in the US, and also gets his purchases blocked. :/

Sort of, since it does block the payment method because it uses a card that is registered in a region they do not allow digital purchases from. I'm sure the idea is "you're not allowed to save money by buying from a region where it's cheaper", but when the product is only available in that particular region, it's rather annoying, lol.

Edit: I might be able to get around it by adding funds to my PayPal, rather than using its link to my debit card, however there are so few companies that block purchases based on region, so it would feel rather annoying to have to do so.

I believe it blocks my debit card, based on where it's registered. Many digital services do the same for out-of-region purchases (e.g. Playstation Network).

54, so scanlations are only just over halfway through.

The number in Yuri Hime is odd. The last chapter of vol. 5 (released in June, last year) was 54. I don't know how come, but somehow the chapter numbering is different in the magazine and the tankoubons.

Myeah... If anything, it'd just serve as a way to exclude them from a search, unless there is already a way to do so? :/

Edit: Since the dropped/abandoned status isn't a tag, it can't be put in the excluded tags search criteria, I mean.

The most common, as far as I'm aware, are the words ojou-sama (f) and goshujin-sama (m), which mean mistress/master, although not limited to BDSM. They are general terms for a servant to address their mistress/master, and also used as a respectful way to address or mention someone of a certain household (e.g. "The Smith family's ojou-sama").

The English loan word masutaa (master) also exists, and is used gender-neutrally, but is not very common, as it is mostly used for an "exotic" tone.

It's currently at 5 volumes published, and ongoing. If it makes you feel better, less than half of the cast has been introduced yet (as of the chapters currently on DS), and it becomes more focused on story and drama as the series goes on.
