I feel like Kayo’s “victory” is a little undercut by how much it involves nepotism. Even if she genuinely loves Satomi, just having a rich sugar mommy give you the win because you’re sleeping with her feels a little cheap from a story perspective. It would be like suddenly winning a huge lottery so you don’t have to work anymore. Anyone could win at life if a rich person in a powerful position suddenly fell in love with you and started giving you treats.

oh my god people give me a bloody break! what part of the corpo ladder looks like an honor to be had? talking as if getting hired in a position you deserve is nepotism LOOL give me a break! Kayo deserves it and is competent and fit for the job! so way in bloody effing hell won’t she get the job? if she can avoid the shity schemes of the disgusting employs that only look to torn you apparat in an sadistic way, AND finally realizing she can have an better and more fulfilling life that an corpo position WAY are you pretending that ain’t worth it?

Way do i have a feeling Aya will willingly breakup with Koto so she can be with Erika?(making the title of the manga becoming true) but that makes no sense, in 7 years are you telling me Koto never though of Erika in an romantic sense? so what makes Erika so sure that after Aya comes back Koto can some how get over her and be with Erika?….unless Koto already has feelings for Erika but can’t be with her becaue of Aya gone missing, so now she can be with her after getting some closure?

Another thing is the dumb Erika thinking she can be with Koto after she breaks up with Aya, like I said, unless Koto has some feelings with Erika what makes her so god damn sure Koto will chose her? and not start falling in love with some one else!

there is something more going on between Erika and Koto but the Erika bitch only cares about getting in between Koto legs LOOL so she ain’t telling Aya anything! like that comment about Koto changing and going in the right direction? clearly the outcome Erika wishes which is way she pushed Koto to talk with Aya in the first chapters, in hopes of Koto starting to move on faster from Aya…..the more i think about it the more i think Aya will end up brokenhearted T^T

I just binged all of this and caught up. I skipped school to read this. I honestly don’t understand the Shiho hate, yes she was a bitch and her redemption wasn’t like zuko or anything. She was shown to be impulsive, self sabotaging, and pretty rude however it’s very like her to quit a band for something like that. She fell HARD she couldn’t just move on, and as mizuguchi said, her feelings were falling out even though she tried to hide them. Shiho was ready to fully move on because their relationship wasn’t healthy. Somehow they fixed it and I think they’re cute.

Shiho had the kind of typical I’m not number one so I quit kind of thing, I think it mostly because of the high standard she held herself because she’d been playing for so long. But that is a stark contrast to why she quit ss, it wasn’t her typical bitchiness, it still was in a way, but it wasn’t because of how high her self standards are, it was because she knew she couldn’t come between yori and mizuguchi.
She couldn’t be number one FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Usually she wants to be the best for herself, because that’s what she expected of herself. But after honestly I forgot her name’s death, she started trying for her, but obviously not in the same way. She felt a debt to her for being mean for stupid reasons. But with mizuguchi she just wanted love, I wouldn’t say she’s traumatized, but she has regrets, who doesn’t? ALSO our mc’s got together in like chapter 5, don’t get me wrong I love them they’re adorable, but the big arc is about Shiho and mizuguchi reconciling, the last few volumes have mostly been about their weird beef. From the moment I saw them, I knew Shiho liked her, I’ve done something similar to that before, I didn’t antagonize them or anything but I do get the initial quitting. She was in the wrong for that but she recognized that and made up.
She was annoying but this is her story too.

Anyways tachibana and ma Chan give me life.

an Shiho apologist? not the first time people see that part of the story in red tinted glasses, this was boring as hell to read about such an unlikeable character, hope the story just ends and we are done because i REALLY don’t care about Shiho being forgiven sooo god damn fast as the supposed “romance” about her and that character is even faster 0.0 like are we gonna spend MORE chapters about their romance now? ugh

This is was a really nice and quick read, but I do wish there's a part two that kinda shows more of their new relationship. (Because, Sasakawa is clearly a people-pleaser / needs validation from others, so it'd be nice to see her stand up for herself / have the author show she's not just using (not necessarily maliciously) Maki for the validation.)

Not only did the ending arc suck, but the last chapter was especially bad. All that heaven nonsense was total bullshit. Such a cute beginning too. What a disappointment.

i disagree, yes the Haven part was really weird to say the least, but the story wasn’t much of a disappointment since from the beginning it was all nonsensical type of story

This was fine, but I still think separation->timeskip->reunion endings are uninspired and boring. From a reader's prospective, effectively nothing happened.

Well we got an apology, except it was to Yori and not to Aki, who is absolutely the one most deserving of one. Honestly, the fact that up until now, not even in her inner thoughts have we seen shiho feel any remorse for what shes put aki through (nevermind a voiced apology) makes their romantic development pretty off-putting.

the manga writing for this drama really starts to show the bad side, IF they get in an relationship right after she BEARLY apologises! ugh can’t wait to get over her pathetic drama T^T

like this is a bit lewd and mostly cute, but there's something very, uuh, gender about the current fad for butches/princes/tomboys who are specifically shown to be bottoms. probably for the same reason butch4butch 0.001% of yuri and femme4femme is 98.7%.

i think it has to do with the fact that even if your gay or straight, tomboys or the end of that spectrum, butch lesbians are rare, same way with femboys >.> so at least we got some Tomboys X Femme in Manga.
