I kind of dislike characters like her unless they actually get realistic consequences for the things they do. Hope she doesn’t plow through everyone easily.

Okay so the chapters in the novel and the comic don't completely align (Ch 15 in the novel is when the cockroach is first brought up iirc). But they kiss on chapter forty eight and its gay as shit cause (bout to spoil how they kiss)

The translation would be:
"Y-Yvonne-?" Elsa was flustered. This was the first time Yvonne took initiative outside her dreams, so it all felt a bit unreal.

“Don’t say anything.” Yvonne hooked her arms around Elsa’s neck. For once, Yvonne wasn’t shying away. She looked straight at Elsa. “I’m also…quite timid.”

Elsa could tell what she said was true. In the dimly lit interior, even underneath Yvonne's golden hair, Elsa saw that her ears were glowing red.

Although still the tsundere and awkward lady, Yvonne was different today

Translation over. And then they made out for a while until they couldn’t breath and Yvonne went, “....One more time?” And then I deceased. A little translation note is that when Yvonne goes “If you want to…then kindly stop talking.” She actually says “想要的话，就乖乖的闭上嘴吧。” Which literally translates into “If you want it, then obediently stop talking.” Obediently here has a connotation of being used to praise kids for being well behaved and listening to their elders. It sounds a lot less hardcore dom in chinese than it does in English. In Chinese, it’s just a hint of super soft power dynamics and Yvonne being the commanding noble lady she is, which I thought was nice but couldn’t be directly implied in English without it sounding super bad.

Also yes the literal word tsundere was used in this. The writing ain't exactly classical literature but it's still cute as shit.

Yuxuan first says ‘我才不管那么多’, literally ‘I don’t care that much’, as in ‘I don’t care what you have to say’. (‘That won’t change anything’ implication vibes) Then she says ‘就算现在说出来怎么样，我还是有想要传达给你的事!’ ‘No matter what happens as a result of saying it out loud (‘cause it hasn’t been said yet), I still have something I want to tell you!’

To be frank I struggled with this part cause I’m a weak CTL lol, sorry for any confusion.

"就算现在说出来怎么样，我还是有想要传达给你的事" is more like, "Even if we sort out our current situation (concerning why Lumiao can't face Yuxuan), I'd still like to tell you something (which leads to her confession)". The current translation of "No matter what happens as a result. I'm not done talking to you" might lack the confession vibes and be kinda confusing.

I can’t help but wonder about the extent to which Nadeshiko actually has a free will and/or personality. I do feel like the moral implications of sex bots having humanoid intelligence is really fucked up, because the power differential between the human owner and the robot sex object is too much.

It would probably just be needlessly cruel to give a sex bot full humanoid intelligence, so that leads me to think that Nadeshiko merely has an imitation of true intelligence that only functions so far as to make the owner have a more pleasurable experience. So does Akane treating Nadeshiko as a human actually achieve anything? Or is Nadeshiko’s “intelligence” merely a means for sex with no real capacity for self reflection or decision making?

Would Akane find emotional fulfillment in Nadeshiko and how would she go about doing that? Her current qualms is that she's inexperienced and that it's illegal to have a robot that looks and acts too much like a human, due to the moral issues brought up in the comment above. She also seems to be treating Nadeshiko like a human, resulting her liking registering as an owner to kidnapping somebody into slavery...

I think for Akane to form a fulfilling relationship with Nadeshiko, the two will have to break out of the owner/servant framework first by establishing that Nadeshiko DOES have free will. Incidentally, that leaves us with a reality where conscious beings can be forced into sexual servitude from creation, which is an interesting concept to see play out.
