In a lukewarm defense of this plot... them being childhood friends was already set up in chapter 1. For Miyuu to just randomly realize it in the recent chapter however is ah, what would you call it... Lazy?

^I think they kept it SoL specifically so they wouldn't have to commit to any one universe. Mysteria exists in all of their franchises somehow, but if they did GBF events they would settle the anime in the GBF world, which denies RoB connections etc. It's weird.
I am quite aware that they didn't cross any lines because of the "waifu" aspect, but the sleepover is fairly innocent.... It's not a confirmation of any sort (it can't be any gayer than all the other things that happened), so I feel it can't be for that reason.
Guess for now we will have to make do with fanfics.

@Ghost Shogun The handholding in Episode 7 was definitely more proof of their feelings than even a kiss at that point.
I don't think there will be another season either. I was just saying in a potential continuation it could easily happen.
Grea has shown that she is kind of a pushover in matters of dress up however. I doubt she would have the willpower to say no if Anne really pressured her into wearing it. But again, I agree that the sleepover could be implied there. I just see little reason to omit it. The season built up to it and its not like it would cross the line they so carefully tried to balance.

The swap because of sexuality idea is getting more likely by the chapter. Although yuri!Marika had it quite a bit worse than normal!Marika, with her sexuality basically not even existing in that world for obvious reasons. Kinda like being sexually attracted to dinosaurs. Almost makes you hope they can stay in each other's worlds once they find out how to communicate.

Little broster will probably turn around on it eventually when they tell her. The whole yandere feeling has become much less prominent now.

Its the most yuri show this season, not all hope is lost.

Yeah Arthur is pretty gay, but it's a rather weak game series, so I wasn't looking forward to the anime too much.

Yeah this season the only good shows are Shounen. Well and I guess Fruits Basket, if you were into that manga.

Oh, but I would also look out for Joshikausei! It's really interesting, because its a "silent" story. No dialogue. The manga had no speech bubbles either. But even so it has yuri subtext. At the very least its unique.

Well call me a pessimist then, but I am just going by the theme and approach the show takes. They most certainly didn't have sex, because their relationship is absolutely not at that point in the show and afterwards still didn't seem to have gone there (potential season 2 could work that out).
As for the sleepover having happened... It's possible. Not likely though. Anne was in Grea's room, sure, but she might as well have visited her before leaving and just adjusted her clothes before she went off. Remember, Anne bought two sets of bear pajamas for their sleepover, so why was Grea in her night gown?
The only thing we can conclusively take from that scene is that Anne is finally allowed to visit Grea's room. Which makes sense considering they will live together soon.

You don't need to know some silly meme to realize that two girls who didn't act that close before and now suddenly hold hands are probably advancing their relationship.
