Looking at her pixiv, the first chapter is from 2014. Then new chapters every so often. There was a relatively short time between the last two chapters (9 and 10). No new sight of the creepy cousin, so far. I hope they intend to finish it with at least similarly short gaps if it ends up coming to that kind of plot.

Although, Chiaki really isn't a nice person is she? I don't like people who take love lightly in a romance story.

I guess that's the morale the story wants to get across. I don't think Chiaki's not nice, per say, she just wants to have fun "while she can" - or perhaps it's like she said to Akane "Why are you fixated on one person?", as in, she doesn't really understand the will to only focus your affection on just one individual.

However, it looks like she just wanted a more libertine relationship while having a most important person as well. I don't think that's not nice IF every concerned parties are aware of that fact. In the end, I guess she was content with having what she wanted without really committing and it backfired... Making mistakes don't make bad people!

If Mikoto had been hurt, I wonder if my view of Chiaki would have changed, but since I'm pretty convinced her other partners knew what they were getting into, Chiaki only ended up hurting herself.

Haha, I guess I got triggered way too fast... I've seen too many people complaining about what should and what should not be in a story, recently.

The panels with the gore scenes were so small on my screen that I could barely make out what was going on in them.

I dunno, the dismembered girl disguised as a kitty picture (ilikedeadgirls for a domain name is a poor quality trap...) got me quite disturbed. The sexual undertone and the sense of details for gore mangakas have... You should use the zoom function!

Is it one of Momono Moto's first works? It looks a bit disjointed or perhaps a teensy bit too abstract in how it is written. I guess I'm supposed to feel as puzzled as the teacher as to why the student is acting this way, but I don't know...

Still like it, though.

Always dislike how those story ends, a mix of disappointment, since it's a bit bland compared to the intensity of the rest of the story, and nostalgia because well, it's over and we won't see any more of the characters...

Yep, it didn't felt that long, nor that Yuzu was struggling much. It did feel intense and hot, though. I think the struggling part and the ominous music makes it a bit uncomfortable, that said Mei is imposing herself on Yuzu, so that's coherent.

I don't know if I'll like the changes the anime is bringing in. I don't mind additions, but changing big chunk of the story is a bit sad. Well, I guess after Made in Abyss and Girls Last Tour I should lower my expectations in term of fidelity for anime adaptations.

Another issue is Harumin's voice, I'd thought it to be lower, but other than that, it looks pretty nice!

Murder's fine but rape's a bit far, don't you think?

That's what supposed to happen, generally. There's also this cathartic feeling of expressing or purging violent feelings or agressivity, somehow. When the protagonist is killing those zombies with a lawnmower in Braindead, it is kind of hilariously violent and most enjoyable if you like that stuff.

You shouldn't. Most author/director who do violent fictional stuff aren't necessarily violent themselves and most probably don't condone those acts. The fascination for bizarre stuff might be the result of anguish/depression/whatever, but I'm pretty sure most of the time, it's not.

I feel why you'd feel like that, though. The Japanese have a very, very interesting and weird approach when they depict gore stuff or just when they do horror stuff in general. It's very psychological and very disturbing. I think that's one of the thing they do best, it's disgustingly fascinating.

More seriously, it's fiction, you can imagine everything without wanting to do it. Doesn't mean they're mentally unstable or whatever. Obligatory irrelevant example : Peter Jackson made several (really) gore films before doing LOTR, and he looks like a nice guy with a happy life!

That said, the guro is really nice (as in unsettling), not a fan of the happy psychopath girls, though. The dissonance is there but it gets old really fast for me. Since it's not very serious, I guess it's cool anyway!

Wait, since when is Hoshikawa Ginza District 4 about a teacher seducing a child? It's just the opposite, sensei actively tries to avoid seducing her and leaves her choices as wide open as possible. That, and the character is portrayed as being really bad at it.

Hence the question mark, I wasn't sure and didn't remember it well, apparently. I thought the sensei fell for the girl without the younger one actively trying to seduce her? Or am I wrong again?

Either way, this and that are a different thing, I guess!

Ah, I don't know if I like where the drama is going... I guess it can't adapt the story as is, but it kind changes the characters altogether. I guess the starting point and the goals are the same, probably. But making Mikage the reason they friendship stopped is a big thing...
