This story continues in Galette 22 with the other characters appearing in their own series called The Woman in the Infirmary in Galette. At least, I think that's what's going on. That particular series has chapter 6 in Galette 23, my assumption is that it is an independent series, but it is possible that it is chapter 6 of this series.

Updating the tags so that it is searchable and can be found with the relevant tags for people looking for similar works. They will be spoilers, but most readers who will read this serendipitously already have

It's a quarterly series. So you won't get updates very often.

Where is it being published? Is this GxG's/Medu's web platform? Did they get a print magazine other than Comic ExE? Is it in the latest ExE and I just missed it lol

Galettes are not pancakes! Don't believe rumors saying otherwise, you can see what they look like yourself with a quick google search. In this case, Petit Galette is a booklet released alongside the larger Galette anthology, which itself is the second-longest-running yuri anthology of all time and is the only consistently running magazine other than Yuri Hime.

So this one isn't random at all. As for the larger publication, I think they just wanted a name that screamed "Yuri~!" and wasn't a macaron. Since galettes are a sort of high-class cafe dessert offering, at least around these parts. Stylish, hip, modern.

Where can you get that finely shredded tobacco from chapter 29? Kiseru pipes are easy enough to find on eBay and etsy, but not the tobacco for them.

Those look like the standart pipe tobbaco you get in bags from any online or physical tobbaco shop, some brands come in cans or boxes tho, but the idea is the same

It does look like normal tobacco in the manga, but what Mamizou describes it as is the finely shredded, hair-like tobacco used with kiseru. Which she says is hard to get in the outside world nowadays. Which is true. Hence my search.

The Not yuri and Not yaoi tags are placed on works where it seems like, or there is an expectation that, the works are yuri or yaoi respectively. So what would make a work qualify for Not het would be that it appears like it's going to be a het work but actually isn't. There are probably a lot floating around the site that could use the tag where it looks like a het work but is actually yaoi or yuri

This work is actually a bit less clear in that regard, but the idea is that there's a reader expectation this will be het so the tag is there as a heads up

This does that annoying thing American comics do, where a word is bolded to emphasize it. Like why? It's so jarring in script.

American comics don't bold to emphasize, they bold to mimic speech patterns and control how the line sounds out loud. Which are, admittedly, not universal. But when you're translating into a target language, you try to choose a consistent voice and and stay natural to that voice. In American comics case nowadays, it's to match American TV, but you can't just emphasize anything in a sentence.

I think people need to understand that, whether we like it or not (I certainly do), Shiho is the most important character in the story. This Arc, which will culminate with the band competition, most likely represents the climax of the entire series.

So the couple's life story was just a bait and switch for another pining romance story. Sad times.

Since this manga is now the only one that is still on-going from day 1 of Galette, it is hard for people to stop after subscribing for 5+ years.

Your loss. I don't think people support the second-longest-running yuri anthology ever because they're coercively locked into the story of Liberty. Although you're correct that this is what total creative freedom with no input from seasoned editors looks like.

And it's kind of glorious.

Kimi Koi no Limit by Momono Moto also has extreme Nana vibes. Two of the MCs are basically copies of Nana and Hachi, so I'm thinking it might be a big influence on her work.
