To think that the nerd friends were worse than the gyaru friends, like holy shit at least the gyarus have a reason to be in conflict!

But ANYWAY! wow, I'm so impressed with Nanaki, she's actually amazing (Except for chapter one) and strong... Like a super gyaru, and just like White rose said, there was conflict but it didn't come as we imagined, they're talking things out like NORMAL PEOPLE WOULD and decided to help each others by ((((((COMMUNICATING))))))) their true feelings!!!

Seems like comunication in a yuri manga is like a one-eyed black unicorn, so rare that its such a breath of fresh air when it happens. I really like how loyal Nanaki is to someone who help her out when needed the most. Really looking forward for the next chapter.

I know of a few mediocre mangas out there that could learn a thing or two from this chapter.

I can't possibly imagine what mediocre manga you're talking about...

Well, isn't this a really cute story? This author's stories really tickle my fancy. Shame about some of the comments in here though. Those do not tickle my anything.

This was a really quick wild ride. One moment i'm like "This is cute, i love it" and the next i'm like "why?"
Good stuff.

I mean... Shouta was molesting her, right? I'm so frikken confused. You'd think the teacher would be like 'hold the ropes. you were molested. Let's just get you securely into bed and not do things to confuse you.' She's the adult. :|

In this way I feel like, if Shouta did abuse her, and it was confirmed, the teacher ought to back the hell off.

I think it was more physical abuse than sexual, at least it was how I interpreted. (I'm not trying to justify the teacher's actions)

Wasn't she implying that Shouta kissed her during the rainy days? Or am i dumb and read it wrong?

Mei gets a wife by doing absolutely nothing The Series:

Complete.

Where do I sign up for this?

Step one: be attractive.

Step two: brood.

The rest will handle itself.

Need to add the step where you act like a complete bitch to the people you supposedly care for. Can't really end with a wife without that step.

Ending feels really rushed, but i can't say i'm not a fan of sappy wedding endings. Explicit wedding is a nice touch, but it felt empty since there was no build up to it and Mei's gramps was quite accepting of it considering how he shoved an arranged marriage not too long ago. Anyways, hopefully we'll get an extra chapter with more sappy stuff to wash away some of the bad taste the last couple of chapters left in my mouth.

I choose to believe that this is the future of the girls from Ginza District.

I read up to this chapter on a translator site, but it never went past this chapter I hope this keeps going so I can see what drama the end of this chapter has brought up. I'm not as positive outlook as some here and I just expect the worst from these situations. >_<

Don't worry, thats always a good mindset when it comes to yuri stories.

Well you gotta hand it to Fujishiro - if nothing else the girl doesn't waste time hesitating.

I'm thinking that Fujishiro and her old group were shitty to them in the past and they're leaving Kurokawa behind due to her forgiving Fujishiro so easily. At least thats what i think, they don't seem like malicious people but i could be wrong.

Seems like mighty dubious grounds for cutting out a pal without so much as inquiring what's going on... I suspect the point Ajichi's making is rather that the "cool girl" clique has no monopoly on arbitrary prejudices and knee-jerk clannishness.

Maybe they just didn't like Kurokawa's fujoshi tendencies and said "Fuck it, let the weird gyaru befriend her instead" I like the idea that every clique is just as shitty as the "cool" cliques though.

Shitty friends but unlike Fujishiro’s, I don’t know that Kurokawa’s are necessarily being malicious. They probably just think they’re gonna be ‘left behind’ or something like that. But still a shitty way to go about things.

Also RIP eyebrows, you’ll be missed.

That conversation in the stairwell went entirely differently then how I thought it would. I have trouble believing Kurokawa feels that way after being verbally abused by this girl and people like her since early childhood. Sheer force of cuteness I guess? I really don't know.

I think Eyebrows feels like that because it has been ingrained into her that pretty people shouldn't suffer because they lose their shine once they're suffering. It could also be explained that she likes cute girls being mean to her cuz she's a submissive, but doesn't know it yet. Either way Kurokawa hating the Princess is a lot better than the "I loved her since i first saw her" option since it has been done to death and even done by the author in his other works.

It’s astounding to me that Saburouta doesn’t seem to realize that she’s taken Mei, the “beautiful troubled soul who will be redeemed by the power of love” and turned her into a cruelly thoughtless non-entity, and that the happy ending readers have been eagerly anticipating throughout most of the series now will most likely come off as being ridiculously contrived and actually an emotional disaster.

This is what bothers me the most about Citrus. Any development Mei had up until the "Lol arranged marriage" trope, was thrown out the window for drama sake. I don't know whose idea was to put that storyline right after the author had Mei explicitly tell Yuzu to fight for their love, but it feels like Saburouta just said "Fuck it, we're turning Mei into a soulless entity who acts merely as a plot device." I'm gonna continue to read this, but at this point is just purely out of morbid curiosity to see how much of a doormat is she going to turn Yuzu into.

The Mei-bot is real. https://yurination.wordpress.com/2018/01/13/citrus-episode-2-malfunction/

Love that blog, the owner of it its an extremely funny person. His reviews of the Citrus anime were hilarious and insightful at times.

I like this story so far, but i feel that Liz' reasoning to be treating Honjo like shit is kinda stupid. I mean, Honjo isn't responsible for her past shitty GF, so why slap her like its her fault? If anything, its her fault for not letting Honjo know anything about her with the exception of what she does for a living. I mean, if i meet a girl who was a chef and that was the only thing i knew about her besides her name, i would also gift her something related to her career.

Anyways, i'm rambling too much. I really hope CH. 7 comes out soon.

I liked this story and the art style is cute. I really like this type of stories where the MC starts as an extremely unlikeable shallow person and ends up a sympathetic likeable one.

Asuka is kind of a jerk tbh

I was thinking that maybe i was being a little bitch for hating her, but now i see that i'm not alone in that feeling. This is the first time i really dislike a Canno character.

I think this chapter is ridiculous. How come their parents just accept the fact that their daughter dating her own step sister.

I mean, you could apply the same logic to any other story out there. How come no one bats an eye to how much of a shit parent Goku is? Because its a manga about super powerful aliens. Same thing in Citrus, its a manga about fake incest where the parents barely said anything at all or made an appearance.

A lot o things building up in this chapter, I think Asuka probably had a relationship with that girl that briefly appeared in her memories but she realized that she only liked her mom.

I was thinking that the girl who briefly appeared was someone who just used her for a bit and then dumped her when she was done and her absent-mindedness was due to being unable to process what happened to her. Her mother being there for her was probably the reason she now has feelings for her.

That's a really dumb interpretation. The girl has been gagga over her momma since she was a child, as has already been shown when her aunt turned into her enemy when she displayed interest in the mom.

A little rude to call my opinion dumb, but whatever. The reason that i had that "dumb" interpretation is because when asked when was the first time she realized she had romantic feelings for her mother, Asuka's mind goes back to what appears to a memory of having sex with a girl. If she has been in love with her mother since she was a child, i think something else would've popped up when asked that question. Anyways, now that i think about it after re-reading the chapter, it seems possible that she was the one using the other girl in hopes of forgetting about her "unnatural" feelings for the mother.

I was almost getting over the fact that i would never watch anything new of Haruhi, but then this just triggered those feelings once again. But hey, at least i got to see 2 characters i never thought i'll see getting paired have sex with each other. Small victory i suppose.

GREAT! It seems Yuzu once again is going to be the one to go beyond and try to solve the problem! i wonder if Mei will do fucking something this time around? I really hope she does for the sake of her character development, because at this point, ts getting really tiring that Yuzu is always the one to seek her out.

Yeah, i really hope that Saburouta gives some redeeming qualities to Mei, otherwise her character gets more and more frustrating with each chapter.

So what's up with Nara-sensei, the community theater director, and her "Ah, I see"?

Maybe she knew Mio, Touko's sister? Or knows the family situation, anyway. At any rate, she's the only recent new element that I can see.

I took it as that she heard Touko's parents talking and she figured out what the play was all about.

Tell me the author didn't just introduce a rival. Can I please get through one good series without a freakin' rival?

I mean, the author didn't just introduce her as a rival, i think it was established some chapters ago that she was interested on Guk-Hwa to some degree. I don't even think she's going to be a rival, maybe something more like one of those close friends who you know is interested in one of the MC's but respects their wish to not get involved with them. Or at least thats what i hope.
