What's a Yuri manga that made you really pause and think? One of those stories that stick with you after you finish reading, because of how they have you rethink the world/life/humanity etc.

Shishunki Bitter Change (body/gender swap) was an amazing one of this genre.
Wakusei Closet (light horror) was a crazy read.
"Paint" by /a/non is a masterpiece (okay, just kidding on this one...still...)

The second is a yuri oneshot but its SFW (the other one was too) about 2 village girls living in the countryside who are close, it opens up with one of them saying 'sometimes, I think about the part of me that has gone to faraway lands' and basically one of them has to leave the village to get married to a man so she asks the other girl to 'prove' her love/for part of her to go with her, by, its revealed, cutting off a part of her ear. She read this one more recently.

Yes reading the original work is really worthwhile, it's great even with the only yuri being unrequited, plus it was hosted here for a while. This is one of 3 spin offs from it.

But basically Shiki likes Tanaka Kanata of the MC's couple. For reference see original ch 21.5
The nurse (Haijima sensei) likes Hinohara sensei (see Harmony), but that too is unrequited.

Both Shiki and the nurse basically tend each other's wounds. For reference see original ch 38.
But their relationship is somewhat tenuous. For reference see original ch 45.
