So Eli is actually a Dating Sim protagonist. I'll believe it.

I worry for Sombra's bones. Then again, she does have a teleport skill.

When Touko is pushing Yuu's lips back you know things are getting coo-coo.

Well at the very least when her legs got rubbed or her fingers were sucked. That does warrant a physical response. And if she is just a little bit into humiliation... well who knows.

her blushing is a physical response too. There is lots of brain chemistry that is going nuts too when people are enjoying this sort of thing. Heart rate, body temp, clarity of thought, arousal, etc can all be affected. It might not have ropes or leather, but their power dynamic play is the essence of D/s relationships.

If you say so. All the things you mentioned happen during normal sexual arousal too (at least to a lot of people). Especially when you are head over heels for someone it's like you are constantly in a dazed state.

I'm sure the author is purposely playing with that dynamic, but I already said my piece on the previous page.

I'm a bit confused. Wasn't Kei who was teasing Misaki with the "I love you"-s?

As was shown in this chapter Kei was never trying to tease Misaki. She tried to be honest about her feelings and overcompensated by being really direct. Misaki just couldn't handle that, because of the gap effect (as Kei is usually very tsundere about her feelings).

The page @Nyangomaru linked is exactly what I was refering to. This one panel shows that Misaki was always aware that her overt affection and cute antics made Kei embarrassed and react tsundere and she does it on purpose because she thinks Kei is cute that way.
In the first chapter she was kinda portrayed as a moeblob airhead who just naturally embarrassed Kei, but now we know better. And that does make it better.

@Nyangomaru You know you shouldn't make any claims on a show you haven't watched like that. Even a blind and deaf person in a coma would be able to tell that Valkyrie Drive is 100% yuri.

Maybe, maybe not. There's been a tension between them since early on that neither of them has been able to pin down, but I don't think we're supposed to believe that they're in love at this point.

I am 100% convinced Fujishiro has a crush on Kurokawa. She only doesn't know it yet.

I love the fact that Misaki was fully aware of what her actions did to Kei from the start and was actually intentionally teasing her all this time. That's something you just couldn't get from Kei's perspective in the previous chapter.

Taniguchi is chaotic good.

Alternatively Yuu could just be waking up next to two of her naked plush eel/manta dolls.
Then she goes back to sleep.
THE END.

I agree that this isn't quite BDSM, but I think it's strong phrasing to say that Koguma doesn't like most of it. She's definitely not getting off, I agree with you there, but she gets pretty hot and bothered several times throughout the series. I think it's totally reasonable for her to get turned on in these scenarios without any submissive kink. I might be wrong though.

BugDevil I think they're all aware that we won't see her tied up in bed anytime...Well, at least I dont

Cut to the next chapter with Koguma being tied to a bench crying "Hino-san you jeeeerk!" lol

I appreciate this comment and accept your analysis.

Uh... thanks. Wow. Didn't think you would to be honest.
Just to be clear, you could also be right. The foundations for BDSM stuff are intentionally here. I just don't see it that way yet.
Either way, this is really cute manga.

First, a teen would think that being a sub and a masochist are the same thing. I would have thought the same before ch 6, but when you see that Koguma wants to be teased more you get that the fact is actually there. Obviously she's happy when Hino is nice, that doesn't change the situation and you see that Hino likes to dominate her, because her reactions are cute. Koguma almost reaches orgasms and everything there totally looks like a play that they have in secret in that place. Just because they keep it low because they are young doesn't make it less BDSM. The only difference that you have with the couple from Virgins' Empire is that they are both aware that that's a BDSM play.

Ah... that "what teens think" thing was just a reference. Nevermind.

I see absolutely not a single hint that Hino is into domination. She likes teasing Koguma and obviously has a dirty mind (hence why she wants to see her panties, touch her etc.) She is just using Koguma's goodwill to get what she wants. I know that may sound like a dom, but it feels more like a coincidence here (in universe of course, the author is clearly playing with BDSM tropes on purpose). She doesn't mind being on the receiving end either (remember the motivation "button"?).
It's just a bit rash to call teasing "domination".
I also dislike that cat play is always treated as a dom/sub thing.

Koguma is going pretty far on Hino's requests and her reactions do show that she might be into humiliation a bit (hence why everyone calls her an M), but it's more so that she just obviously has a crush on Hino and wants to make her happy and hides it behind her duty as a class pres. Now I'm not saying that there aren't any "obligational subs" out there who just do it for their partner. I'm just not sure the author thought that far.

Well this is exactly a 100% BDSM series, Koguma's not really a masochist, she's a sub instead. There are all the elements of a dom/sub relationship: we have collars, pet play, tease and denial, orders, sneaky requests and humiliation.
That's why I'm seriously demanding a BDSM tag, now that I think about it, it's not like BDSM is just SM.

But its played up for jokes. This is just teasing, not actual "play".
The only times Hino has a strong reaction is when Koguma acts cute, not because of domination.
Koguma doesn't even like most of it, but goes through with it for Hino's sake (because she is the big gay). She is clearly happiest when Hino is nice. She may be a slight masochist tho.

This is llike "what teens think BDSM is".

I really appreciate this manga so much for avoiding dragged out drama. The characters actually talk to each other and resolve issues. Even when Fujishiro tried to isolate herself, Kurokawa took her hand to draw her back in.

Sometimes you can be really mad at silly things even if you don't want to be. Irrational fear or irritation can lead to rifts. Izumi was definitely right about the loneliness thing, but I feel like she purposely omitted the potential of romantic feelings and jealousy here, because she isn't ready to accept it yet. It's clear that she has feelings for Fujishiro, but doesn't want to get between them.
