Unless Yoshiko suddenly started calling Riko 'Lily' in the second season, which I haven't yet watched, I'm assuming the translation of her nickname was supposed to be more like 'Riri'.. which admittedly is usually translated as Lily but it's just odd in this setting and probably confusing to anyone who hasn't watched Love Live

upon re-reading I continue to realize how frustrating the concept of cheating is. It just seems completely out of nowhere. I know there were subtle drops that certainly could imply cheating but Reiichi just genuinely seems to love and care for his sister and wife, and there's such a strong emphasis early on of them being a family unit it's just upsetting that he would ruin what he has. I really was fine with a bittersweet ending. Sigh. Years of reading manga has made me so jaded to familiar setups that I wish I wasn't upset by the sudden nature of the potential cheating.

And if it's a misunderstanding then honestly, that might be even worse with Kaoru having gotten hurt so it's a no win situation.

I'll be fine if there's somehow a happy yuri ending in all of this but I'll still always feel like it was a little bit too forced unless there's a really good explanation in all this.

This was the one thing I didn't wanted. I didn't mind a bittersweet ending. The brother genunely seemed to care for his sister and wife so I didn't want a cheap cheating cliche tossed in there to let them be together.

Meh. I guess I ultimately don't mind if it means a happy ending will occur but.. we'll see I guess. Maybe it is somehow a misunderstanding but I doubt it.

I'm actually really glad that this series has been lacking in terms of drama, and the drama there has ended in a comedic fashion. This series is much more comedy than drama, but still well written and focused on a slow growing relationship which you don't see from a lot of comedic based series.

I never bought into the whole shiori cheated thing. Touko was broken, like insanely so, when shiori was gone. That doesn't seem like the kind of reaction from someone just cheating on you. None of shiori's smiles seem sinister either, she genuinely seems to love Touko and wants to be with her.

But at the end of the day, the author left the original up to the reader's interpretation so unless they actually explain what happened nothing is right or wrong.

I'm just here for the ride. I like Citrus even if it's making its rounds to be sure it checks off every drama romance cliche imaginable. It's campy and fun. hah.

Oh my heart. These past few chapters really had me believing at least Michiru might end up with the glasses guy, but dang this series drags me back in hurting me and making me happy. So much hope things work out between Maya and Michiru, the latest chapter made is very obvious they feel the same.

Except.. it does when you think of her like a child with a single parent, which is pretty much their relationship. They love each other like family, it's very clear here, there's no NTR going on
