If somebody says "I'm not going to date you because I'm in a committed relationship and my feelings for them are serious" and you take that as "So you're saying there's a chance!" that is very much and very certainly a you problem.
Your whole reply is ridiculous but this comment is what pisses me off the most. You’re trying to imply that IM unable to take no for an answer— when my whole comment is based on what happened IN THE MANGA
The student LITERALLY didn’t take MC saying she’s in a relationship as rejection— and immediately asks for a kiss. WHY are you trying to spin it onto me?? Literally arguing in bad faith rn
You acting like me expecting the worst is such a crazy take when if you ACTUALLY read BETWEEN the LINES—
student-teacher relations are discussed seriously, from a teacher getting arrested to the effects of a student being rejected actually discussed and with how the MC’s GF said “if we get found out I’m breaking up with you”
— the tone of the story is serious— therefore, expecting something bad to happen isn’t insane or as far-fetched as you’re acting like it is
What’s crazy is how you think MC handled this well. She didn’t. Easily could’ve said “I’m a teacher and adult, you’re a student and minor, a relationship is illegal and inappropriate” and if she asks “but I’m a girl?” She easily could’ve said it didn’t matter to her, “love is love” yadda yadda
The student only offered a kiss + offered to be MC’s rebound BECAUSE she shared she was a lesbian— which there was NO REASON for her to do that, so the obvious interpretation is “oh, I have a chance cuz she’s into women too”
It’s so obvious the student hasn’t moved on— hence her being happy. She obviously thinks she has a chance
