Just finished 6.5, let it burn, let it burn, let it burn slowly. C'mon, your Dar should be like a screaming siren by now. Plus signs of a beginning relationship. All the characters are set up nicely for the plot. Jaded Friend who might be a lover; an extremely possessive little sister. And no, that move of Kanon on Saki pinning her to the wall is not just an act. I have not seen a panel that sexy for quite awhile. Anyway, this is a Yuri, not Yuri bait.
I wish I can obtain a raw that has the actual Japanese name of Kanon. This is because Kanon is actually a type of music theory composition. It is logical for a musical family to name a kid after some unusual music term that also sounds good.

Now I cannot wait. In which magazine is this being published?

How come the two, as close friends, still address each other with last name only? No honorific, or "chan". (ok they cannot use sempai or kouhai since they are in the same grade)

I wish the team would wrote down who published the manga, or the original anthology which is better. I cannot support the mangaka even if I want to.

It is complicated. You can date and have sexual relationship with a minor (pre-pub is of course a no no) as long as both are during the process of getting married. Of course you do need a proof, such as the parents of the underage person agree to it, or have some sort of outward sign such as wearing an engagement ring. Of course signing a contract (legally recognize or not, ie arrange marriage) should do it.

In Citrus, this is why Amamiya has his way with Mei, who was 15 years old at the time. And later Udogawa (who is reluctant of the deal) almost becomes a fiancee, when Mei was 17. Suzuran has a friendly relationship with her fiancee, but Himeko has never met hers.
There is one problem. Same sex couple marriage is not recognized in Japan. So that makes the requirement of future marriage completely null and void. And no, dating a minor claiming that in the future same sex marriage will be legal, is not going to fly. Partnership Certificates are only good for hospital visits and apartment hunting, and only works if you live in the town that dished out those. They are not civil unions. Japanese law is a grey area. It does not legalize gay marriage, but on the other hand, it does not ban gay marriage either.

I'm in my mid-20s and I would probably become celibate rather than date an 18 year old. I don't really understand them >and to them I'm practically a geriatric boomer.

She is attracted to women. She even says "it's precisely because Takagai's a woman that she's attractive"

It's been implied that at one point she had feelings for another woman/was in some kind of a relationship with another woman, but the other woman ended up leaving her for a guy and getting pregnant. This is why she's so uncertain about starting up a relationship with Takagai. Plus her own "gotta find a guy so I can get married and have kids" thing is your classic comphet.

I'd like to say though, she can be inexperienced and still attracted to women. Having experience with sex doesn't make you more or less of a lesbian, or anything else for that matter.
I think it is the other way around if I still remember the rest of the manga. The guy whom she dated left her for a younger woman.
I guess you may be right about the sex part, but I still am not sure because Shiina seemed to be literally clueless (you will see that in the next chapter or so, and desperate to know).

My personal experience may or may not be common with yall. I was not sure what I liked in sex was "normal" at all, I ended up reading a major gay magazine one day, and found the answer in a sex question column. Turned out sexually I am 100% fine. I do not have to like everything. In fact, I do not have to like anything.
So Plutonic love does exist. Although I think one should at least like skinship...

I read up to 9 in Chinese. It was an interesting story at the beginning, but after half a dozen chapters it was getting boring, no matter how different each clients are. The manga is complete with 19 chapters, but I do not feel like buying it. There are quite a few Lesbian Brothel theme mangas, with Asumi chan being the more popular one.

Each chapter is an arc. So it actually is OK to skip. The background story of everyone is pretty good, but wish it could be deeper. By volume 4 it showed how Ryou, a delinquent, met Kei, and that was how Ryou started to work in the industry.

I'll say this manga is "meh".

This is the best one shot I have read. My jaw really drops. I finally found a story with an old artist and a young muse (although the muse is not that young). Lets look for 25+ years age gap from now on!! OK, maybe I am biased, my music teacher looks like her, with that same type of temper...."odd ball".

Wow. Finally some truth. A lot of same sex couples (especially guys) have very large age gap. Also a lot of them, at least in my area, are inter-racial. First of all, love is love. Secondly, when there is a supply-demand situation, you don't get to pick "I must find someone who is within 5 years of my age". It is not unusual that one is expected to be the widow/widower. It is what it is. Wish there are more manga like this. I am totally down for a 50 & 20 years old couple. Not sure about 40-10 because that is onee-loli area. Nothing wrong, just not my prefer set up.

The story is fine the way it is, but I really wish the story would continue. I want to see how this age gap couple does, such
as how the friends of Meguru react, or in fact, if Meguru would keep her relationship secret. From self-proclaiming one new boy friend a week type, to a stable long term lesbian relationship. Same thing I want to see how Yuhiko life has changed, especially in the work place. Strangely, I think if the co-workers found out that Yuhiko is in a lesbian relationship (with a cute girl), I think all those jealousy issue and office politics about her will be all gone. You cannot get jealous a female co-worker climbing the corporate ladder by sleeping with her own girlfriend.

It is still one of the sweetest mangas I have read.
And yes, depends on how you see it, Yuhiko may be a Sei prototype.

It really feels like someone who is neither gay nor has any close LGBT circle friends wrote it. ie, some Het author who just drew this while imagining what a same sex relationship should be. Some places I literally cringe.

Does 404 mean 1. not a single male in the manga, literally? 2. just background character, for example, a pedestrian? 3. super minor character that has one or two lines only, and usually a couple of panels. A lot of times they are drawn without eyes, nose, etc, make the character "generic". If they say anything, it will be "gossip gossip gossip" or "......"(6 dots), something like that. Such as a passer by.?

Specifically. Elementary school 6,middle school 1, middle school 2. Ichika's body is completely non-Higashiyama Show's style. But Aria is 100% his type of "girls".

In Implicity, it seems like his ideal age is 11. (9, 10, 11, 12), so this is much younger than Vampeerz and certainly Prism (16). The female main protagonist of Implicity was only 8 when she showed up in the manga.

Of course, you can joke that the youngest character in the manga, physically, is a kindergartener, and yes, she is the villain, and hell bent to take revenge on Aria.

Passbook is still safer. You are forced to sign a paper in order to get any money out. The passbook does not reveal how you sign. So picking up a pass book would mean nothing because the clerk will instantly reject your request because the bank itself holds the correct signing sample.

If someone pick up your credit card, the least they can do is to have a super luxury meal since your card has the signing, so as soon as you managed to forge, you can start using it. And i am sure criminals would learnt how t forge within 10 minutes of picking up your card.

This is an extremely nice balance work. This is what plutonic relationship is all about. You love each other, yet sex is not part of the relationship at all. By having sex not being a factor at all, it is actually a stronger relationship because one has to be able to recite the reason of the relationship on their own ends. "She is one hot babe" cannot be a major reason anymore. By living as neighbors both managed to preserve the love between them, because they have the personal spaces they each seek. This sort of living arrange ship is very close to what a convent or a monastery is.
If you want to read some high drama romance, this one is absolutely 1000% not to be able to qualify. But if you "get" it and appreciate the very subtle difference between their love, this is one for you.

I knew something is special within half a dozen pages. I decided to slow down and read it panel by panel to make sure
every details I catch.
Anyone knows which magazine serializing it? Is it still ongoing? Or at least the name of the publisher?

BTW, how could the girl manage to pay that much money? It is possible to make that much, but that means you work there from opening to closing, so onw has to quit school. Also, it is possible that, waitresses are only paid a below minimum wage (930 yen per hour). if paid the minimum wage, it will take 10 hours per day to get the amount. since it is expected that they will get tips.

I have just received my issue and read it. (and yes, April 18, you did not misread the date) Chapter 35 has 16 pages, which is half of the usual length of about 30 pages. Sensei did not drop a single hint about this chapter, whether it is in his pixiv fanbox (I am a princess), or twitter. He did show a few drafts with no bubbles...

If you really think about it, and look at the interesting set up, ie, Junior allows Senior to live for free, there must be something going on. But in this issue we have a Yuri moment between the two.
After a big fight, Senior decided to sleep on the living room couch. Junior went to the bedroom, then suddenly realized that Senior would not be sleeping in the same room. So Junior came back out to the living room, and slept on Senior's lap while she was already asleep. Also Junior made that decision while Senior was already asleep. You have to explain to me that they are just friends only, vs what I see as a couple. The chapter ends like this, without adding anything more, as I am sure Sensei has already let us draw on our obvious conclusion.
The truth is in this chapter the two of them crossing over the friend zone, they are actually lovers,

The truth is Maybe it is time to put the Yuri tag even though it is just a small part in one chapter?
