This is a story that I found to be really enjoyable as a premise, but I think the series would have been much stronger if they just fully committed to making it a smut story. Like clearly the whole premise is "two maids who can feel each other's pleasure while having sex, and a mother + daughter who are in love with them". Leaning into the sex and building up the relationship between the two pairs through that would have made for a very solid smutty romance in the vein of asumi-chan or something.

Since this is a chinese series and one or both main character(s) are always super wealthy there’s a non-zero chance that they just charter a plane lol.

Very interested to see where this goes. I think depressing stories with a flicker of hope for a better future are very appealing. You kinda need to experience both the good and the bad to make either hit hard in fiction.

Aju and Tsukasa's relationship and "determination" are really well done. I definitely get the sense that the mangaka wants to talk about systemic issues through the lens of this ogre vs human thing, and this is the first time we really get to dig into it.

I also really like both characters. Tangents focused on side characters like this are often hit or miss for me, but in this case they're super compelling in their own right, and also fit the larger themes of resisting the pathways set before us by our forebears that Hinata and Naori are also dealing with.

I think the obvious line of thought here is "there was a reason why Frost had to kill his father, and it actually justifies all these actions", and it's already been hinted at that the armor is more of a curse than a blessing, but I would like it if there was some actual nuance and that maybe Frost did do something bad, or approach the situation from a bad direction even with good intentions.

The characters are both pretty cute, I like that the sage girl seems kinda haughty considering the tank top that says prodigy on it lmao
