No entendí nada del último Suito-to. >_< No comprendo qué es lo que tiene que ver la escena de las dos durmiendo juntas en el tren con el aire "ausente" de Momo. Y no me parece que Momo tuviera que contarles nada a las dos amigas. Y la reacción de estas no me aclara nada, la encuentro confusa y atípica por lo que sabemos de ellas. Debemos suponer que les parece romántico el cuento de lo que pasó a Momo en el tren? o qué?

Saeko is crazy in love with Miwa.

That much should be obvious to everyone at this point of things.

I believe you're right. But I think Saeko hasn't realized it yet.
If she had realized, she would be even more conflicted than she is now. I'm 99% sure that, for all her bravado, Saeko had never really been in love before. It's funny when you think about it: she's experienced in relationships, but she never was serious about her gfs before... and now that she's in love for realsies she doesn't understand her own feelings and keeps thinking "Why the heck am I so jealous of Miwa!!!??? This is not like me!" and is unable to find an answer.

If only she tried asking someone for advice (Rika would be perfect) she would get an explanation so easily... but asking for help doesn't go with her usual cool act, so she won't do it. Too bad.

People are saying that they don't care about Kan's backstory, but I don't think the author was necessarily trying to make us sympathize with him.

This. I personally don't understand why people think backstories are always told for sympathy, for me, it's more about understanding and it helped me to understand him better. He's an arsehole for sure but at least I can see where it's come from now, doesn't make it right or whatever, but understandable somewhat and human.

I completely agree. Somebody recalled before the character Tonoike Tazune from Run Away With Me, Girl who also had a sob story in his past that explained his shitty present behavior (tw: girls had always bullied him in school, so now that he had grown up and become a handsome seducer he bullied the shit outta women) and how that wasn't supposed to excuse his bad deeds. Important rule: explaining isn't excusing. Backstories are there to add depth to the characters, nothing more.

Just keep trucking along. I'm loving this.

Amusing that Yuu only shows those strong reactions of arousal when Mari turns the tables and takes an active role (no matter how minimal). As long as Yuu remains completely in charge, she's always cool as the North Pole. I seem to recall old debates about this paradoxical dissonance of behavior ― and what could be inferred from it about Yuu's true sexuality.

That she secretly wants Mari to reverse dominance on her! By Kekko Kamen's teachings, all dominatrices secretly want to be dominated. xP

I'm curious about that dish of fried bread stuffed with egg, ham and cheese. It's pretty simple, but I had never heard of that way of making it.
Is it an American staple? Does it have a name?

Tag: What the fuck am I reading?

Heads up, this is a 3-chapter story. The next one is the last. About the foiled rape attempt tag, eh, I'm indifferent about it, I guess.

Is this also one of your translations, Lucas?

Can't wait for the chorus of angry voices complaining that the definition of "coming out" is all wrong.

Claiming that you know those people and that they are cheating on someone else and that you took the pic because of this reason (to use it as evidence when/if you rat on them) actually makes it even worse.

I...don't see how?

Nobody likes a snitch.
(Broad generalization, I know; but traditionally it's been always like that. Ymmv.)

Lol, we readers of fan-translations expect that respect and accuracy in every work, and we love our Japanese loanwords. If you try to make the characters sound Western, people wil hate it; and if you make them say 'respected older sister' or 'upperclasswoman' hoo boy, it will get real ugly.

I still remember the horrible shitstorm when the translator of '2DK, G-pen, Alarm clock' tried to make the MCs speak like American or British people, and in one case gave a thick Scottish accent to one character. Commenters crucified her, the backlash was brutal; it was so bad that she stopped translating.
And to this day nobody else has picked that manga, which sucks. I wonder if the guys who complained so much feel sorry now? The words 'shoot oneself in the foot' come to mind....

I noticed the Spanish translation is way more verbose that this one.
It's because they refuse to use Japanese loanwords like "sempai" and instead say things like "Momose, esa chica que estudia en tercer año."
If they did it like that in English, "Eh? Did she call me sempai?" would turn into something like "Eh? Did she call me in a way that implies she's a student from a year below?" lmao

Isn't the Cooking club Senpai one of the two girls behind the ex-singer in the last page?

Siento lo mismo: temo que el final será triste, porque esa primera página ya anuncia que lo de Shizuku y Kaori no podrá durar... ^^;;;

I wouldn't have any gripe about this if this manga's spiel wasn't to somehow lecture the readers about LGBT...

This manga's just about telling a story.

If I didn't know better and was an average Japanese reader not too informed about it, I'd go and think "Wow, these LGBT people are really screwed in the head! I hope my child isn't one of them and will steer clear of them, lest they be infected by their craziness!"

I think the average Japanese reader can tell reality from fiction.

This is NOT ok.

That's your subjective opinion.

For example: Blondie, in this chapter...

Did he even have a name? I guess he had, hehe, but his role in the story is so minimal I've already forgot (I had even forgotten he existed, tbh).

The part where he removes his wig in the café reminded me of the end of the movie Tootsie. This kind of scene always make me panic. I was almost jumping on my seat and yelling "Nooo!!! Not in front of everyone you dork!!!!!!!" lol

The social, familiar & economic pressures on a pregnant woman to get hitched to the man who fathered the baby are frigging enormous. Idk if you've read Happy Sugar Life, but if you have you should remember Shio's mom and how she got pregnant — and how the two families dealt with the problem.

Dammit, gurl! I didn't want to remember that! Uuugh. >_<

Listen... if I saw things right, in page 15 the spurt of semen hits the door with such power and strength it goes THUD! and the abused wood of the door goes CREAK! under the violent impact. There are even impact lines radiating from the point of the crash.

Shit, man. That's some ejaculation. I think only Superman can outclass that jizz blast.

LOL! I didn't realize until you pointed it out. XDDDDDD

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR MAKI?!
PUNCH THE $HIT OUTTA TAZUNE!!!

Problem is, Tazune is a big strong guy, and he looks very fit. Otoh, Maki is woefully out of shape and frankly I don't think she has too much of a chance in a fistfight against Tazune.

If things turn violent, I sure hope she finds a lead pipe nearby at hand.

Mother almost sounded like a mothercon there...

Oh, I agree. 7w7 Runs in the family, I guess.

But really... goddammit, Yuuki, way to screw up a perfect occasion to score some love points with your mom! All you had to do was comfort and reassure her! Instead, you just perved on her and didn't listen to a word she said. >_< ARGH! This is the problem with teens and their hormone-addled brains.

Soo... she doesn't like her big boobs? o.O
I mean--!!!... 'she doesn't find them normal' alrite... >.>;;;;

I suspect there's something wrong with the translation. Well, either that, or there's some kind of joke that I don't get at all.

I was under the impression that Blonde Classmate had realized that Mako says "normal" to mean "love" (in the scene where she gets a lightbulb over her head) and thus asked Mako about her "normal" for Sayaka to actually make her talk about love.

However, the question is "What parts of Sayaka are not normal?" (meaning: what parts you don't love) and the answer is "Her breasts, because they are so firm and soft." This doesn't make sense. Even less so if you consider Blondie's obvious shock and Sayaka's embarrassed reaction.

If the question was "What parts of Sayaka do you find the most normal?" (meaning: you love the most) everything would be much clearer.

Not gonna lie: I was a bit disappointed by this chapter. It all felt cliché to me. Like a long string of cliched tropes pasted together.
