That wouldn't be unreasonable. It's a trope you see often: someone confesses to another person (either by message or face to face), and the one who receives the confession doesn't reply immediately but instead asks for some time to think it through. Indeed, it happens a lot in manga.

But, if this is the case, I'd like at least some hints of awkwardness between them — not just interaction as usual, as if nothing was going on! >_<

If memory doesn't fail me, last time we got a Haruka x Kanae chapter, Haruka gave Kanae a love letter where she fecking confessed to her.

What the hell happened after that?!? The obvious continuation should have been a chapter where Kanae sorts out her feelings, goes to meet Haruka and gives her a proper answer. Why are we suddenly back to gay-subtexty status quo?

Speaking of small details, did you notice that Touka puts a collar on Yuzu when she takes her for a walk?
But she doesn't use a leash, she leads Yuzu around by the hand, which makes the collar completely pointless, lmao.
I guess a good, law-abiding Japanese citizen always follows the rules (like the one that says dogs outside must be collared) even if it's a case when they obviously shouldn't apply...

There's more than one. TCOOS was filmed many times.

There's one with Boris Karloff as Nahum. This one has absolutely nothing in common with the original story, except a few characters and the meteorite from outer space, which makes things mutate and turns people into demonic bogeys. The name of this movie is "Die, Monster, Die!" (And you can deduce from this name how little the movie has to do with the original tale, lol.)

There's another one with Nicholas Cage as Nahum (renamed Nathan) which was filmed last year. I've heard it's good, but haven't watched it. The script retells the story in a modern, contemporary setting.

I'm sure there were others, but off the top of my hat I can't remember 'em.

Three Budoukan episodes already, and zero progress. Maina is still all mopey ("oh one day I'll show Eripiyo my real feelings, yes, one day") and Eripiyo is every day more certain that Maina hates her.

I was surprised to find that most Cham girls have already graduated high school and are working adults. Maina really have no excuse to be so effing useless. Take the train scene. It's late at night, they are both done working and ready to return home; they are totally free. They meet by chance on the train. After a long, awkward silence, Eripiyo says "sorry to be breathing the same air as you, I'll move to another wagon" and leaves. And Maina... does nothing. >_< For fuck's sake, girl, ask her to join you for a drink! If it goes on like this, we'll reach the end of the show with no changes.

PS: I'm so mad at those staff women. Am I the only one who wants to kick their sorry asses for not telling Maina that they lost the tanzoku package Eripiyo sent her?

Anyone interested in Oshi ga Budoukan? I watched episode 1 without really knowing what it was about, and was really surprised: it looked totally yuri! The two main characters, a minor idol and her dedicated fan, seem to have passionate feelings for each other, but, because they are useless lesbians very conscious of the taboo that says it's wrong for an idol and a fan to become too close, they don't cross the line.

Then I tried to find more info and it turned out that this anime is an adaptation of an ongoing manga by HIRAO AURI.
