Yeah saying "that night" makes quite the difference to "that evening" as evening implies there is still time left in that day. If the scene showed it looking like it was dusk then the strip wouldn't have felt so out of place. Guess we'll see.

I was just pointing out why it wasn't a filler episode but yeah that is what i am thinking too. I also have a feeling that the whole "that night, she never turned up" may have been a slight mistranslation, It's not the first time something got lost in translation.

The Chinese says, 那天傍晚，孙璟没有出现. With perfect hindsight, we could change the tl a bit to say, "That nightfall, SJ did not appear" or even "Before sunset, SJ did not appear," but it sounds a bit awkward in English and even Chinese fans suspect Tanjiu dropped the ball a little bit and forgot about her mention of 傍晚. Especially since the latest strip doesn't show QT waiting until sun down. Oh well!

She has had a bit on her mind though from what i understand so i can see how she may have made a mistake.

Edit: In fact just using google "那天傍晚，孙璟没有出现" translates to "That evening, Sun Jing did not appear"

It probably doesn't make a difference to some but the age gap in Leon The Professional and Beloved are quite different.

QT had SJ's coat before the Christmas special and Mo's chapters as well, so I think SJ meeting QT at the sweet potato stand happens immediately after Mo stopped SJ. QT asks SJ if she was finished with her "business" and went on to passively scold SJ for making her wait in the cold.

If so, the earlier panel with QT saying Sun Jing never showed up, and implying she never heard from SJ, makes worrying over QT and SJ feel forced.

I'm guessing that SJ calmed Mo somehow and then texted QT saying she was held up over some "business", with business meaning talking to and rejecting Mo -- poor girl, I really feel for Mo.

Man, I've been stressing like hell since last chapter thinking there was gonna be some ridiculous drawn out drama like citrus but it looks like it's gonna be fine, I can sleep easy tonight.

What I think is that Team Gaji planned Sungji and Sumin ending from the start, but when started developing Seju, they liked her more than Sungji.

I've always thought that too, especially going by interviews and Q&A's in the past.

Es0teric Not sure what you're trying to say about the plot twist, but from the wdtfs description you've mentioned, it becomes clear that Sungji is the main character. Like you said, Seju is not even mentioned.

I was just trying to say that Seju and her relationship to Sumin was the plot twist.

Yes, I did. But logic tells me from the premise, the paradoxical adjectives describing the team manager, that relationship will aboard these two(the subordinate and superior), the inevitable pairing, SuminxSeongji. So, where is the plot twist?

There is another post in this forum about what is happening at Lezhin. I don't buy into your "they changed the end" theory but there is definitely some stuff going on in regards to author payments. Even SBS news are talking about the issue.

I could be wrong but i believe the creators are complaining that they're not being payed properly for their work by Lezhin, going by the tweets from both Team Gaji and other creators on Lezhin. They also apparently have a blacklist of writers who speak out against them.

Ah sorry no i didn't mean to imply that Their Story isn't "Yuri enough", just that not every chapter is about or contributes to the main couples romantic relationship. Not completely focusing on the main couples relationship has turned away some readers i noticed, even though the story has so many great attributes like Mophead and SJ's relationship. Which is why i tried to lower Nora's expectations a little.

On hind-site though I probably shouldn't have called the relationship a subplot though as that may have added to the misunderstanding :)

By the way Shoujo Ai is more an American term rather than Japanese

Now is a good time to start reading Their Story though as it's finally moving forward in the GL romance department.

I'd still recommend reading it as the dynamics between the characters is great and it's quite funny; just real slow in the Yuri developement.

I'll just point out that Their Story (Tamen de gushi) is more a slice of life with a Yuri subplot rather than a Yuri manwha straight out like Fluttering Feelings or WDTFS.

You'd have more luck reading this entire thread to find the answer to that question.

I actually have read most or all of the posts here at one point or another; I was hoping for maybe a condensed now-that-it’s-over-and-the-ships-are-all-in-port version.

Ah, well good luck with that. I think a lot of it is more to do with the reader than anything else.

Understand the reader and you may understand their reasons.
