Knowing the tags is only half the battle. It's how the tags are used who make the difference. The big difference with the others was that Aya is an highschool girl. Here we have a middleschool one (i suposs). I'm fine with the first because Aya look mature enough but Ibu look too much of a child for me. The problem lie in the attitude. I won't spell for you why a predatory attitude towards a child make me awkward. It's a different matter if it was more fluffly and lighheart.

Uhh... that remark doesn't really follow from the original post. It means that people who DECIDE to read this should know full well what that choice entails. Reading something that's tagged with stuff you don't like and then making a big fuss on the forums is immature at best, and fucking stupid at worst.

Haruki has confessed but what does that mean for her and Aya? Will she pursue Aya at all? Will knowing she’s hurting her best friend stop Aya from seeing Sei? If she does; will Sei try to keep Aya with her?

Will Mochida succeed? And what will the new character add to Sei’s story? What would her past relationship expose about her situation with Aya? Does she treat Aya differently?

This reads like one of those spiels they used to do on old TV shows.

I did a little searching in some raw manga archives, but found nothing. :/ Your best bet is asking the Spanish scanlators where they did get their raws. They aren't top quality scans, but look decent enough.

Warikitta Chapter 12 will be up very soon, and with that, we're gonna be caught up with the raws.

Eve no Okusuri's first chapter has just been translated to Spanish. I expect we'll see it translated to English soon. It's a one-volume manga Flowerchild published right before starting Warikitta. It's like a general rehearsal for Warikitta, lol. The main differences are that, in Warikitta, Sei is not a teacher at Aya's school, and Aya is already a woman with a well-developed body. Thus, the potential problems with authority issues and underaged sex are cleanly solved. In Eve no Okusuri, Eve is a middle-schooler with a tween's body, and the beautiful sexbomb sensei who seduces her works at Eve's school, haha. (In fact, they have sex at school in this very first chapter!) But, leaving those details aside, it's easy to see that the two MCs are prototype characters for Aya and Sei. (Eve's thoughts about how wonderful it is to have a nice, beautiful, sexy older woman pamper you and make you feel good? Just what you would expect of Aya!)
For now, there's only one translated chapter out, but I can already tell it will be a fascinating read... among other things, because we will find out the secret origin of that awesome masterpiece of yuri that is Warikitta. (b^_^)b

The next chapters will be coming out when they're ready. Typesetting this is quite a labor of love, as you can imagine from all that redrawing that had to be done. As the translator for this, I can tell you that this is gonna be worth the wait. Well, for eromanga, at least.

This is soooo ridiculous. Like, are you a woman? Have you EVER been to dating apps, sites etc? When you create an account, you get like dozens of messages, and 99,9% of them are shit like “Are you a virgin? What are you wearing? Wanna see my dick? Have you got a boyfriend? Do you like cunnilingus? You have nice boobs, wanna lick ‘em!” and stuff like that. From what we can see, Sei did exactly the same. She started her perverted chat soon after they began talking. Daily, yeah, like for a week? So how do you think, are there a lot of woman who “develop a strong emotional connection” to that kinda fellows? None. Really, practically zero. Because it’s disturbing. Because it’s invading privacy. It’s uncomfortable. And it’s way more so when you are a lonely teenage girl with extremely low self esteem. So something like a girl falling in love with a stranger who writes in a chat “I wanna fuk u real hard ooohhh babe” is not even forced, it’s stupid and funny. It’s almost comedy. Thus this romance is pulled out of an ass. It’s called “bad writing”.

I've been on multiple dating sites. Never once had this experience for some reason. Seriously. Not even once.
I have met and spoke to people with similar hobbies though.

It depends on the dating site. As far as I can tell, the one Aya was using had good reviews, and people dress nicely (business suits, office wear and smart casual attire) for their profile pictures. It might be more "formal" than Tinder, at least. Also, as the characters have repeatedly mentioned, the app is also used by people who just want to make friends. The Japanese word for "dating site/app" is "deai kei saito/appuri" which only really means "meeting site/app." The "dating/hook up" part is implied, but not necessarily its sole purpose.

Treating Japanese online dating sites like one of those with incredibly rude Indian and Bangladeshi users is not only ignorant, but honestly kind of insulting. And besides, it's not like the ONLY interactions Aya and Sei had were online and in texts. They have actually spent a decent amount of time together, or at least more than the other people in Aya's life. It's not hard to imagine that someone deprived of any sort affection will latch on to the first person to offer it.

Well, when you say that Sei didn't do it maliciously but rather she did it to confirm her suspicions, it does sound like you're partially excusing it. Despite that fact, I didn't quote your post specifically because I don't know your stance anyway, so I took this post as an opportunity to mention the phenomenon of people excusing the shady actions of a character because the manga itself is excusing them. It wasn't meant for you directly.

I see. I apologize too. I understand that people in fact, actually downplay Sei's actions to an absurd degree sometimes, but I can see where both "sides" here are coming from. I actually like all the main characters of this series, with all the curves and edges that come with them.

Well, for me at least, I want to let FLOWERCHILD-sensei to give us an interesting story, and people always doing the right and logical things doesn't make for a good read. This manga is a mess, a slow-motion car crash unfolding before our eyes, and I wouldn't have it any other way. All characters here are deeply flawed in different ways, but that's what made me even consider reading and translating this in the first place.

Maybe you could leave a TL note at the end of the chapter for stuff like that. Like idk, "in x panel or x page, Sei says stuff like this, but the tone couldn't be carried over", and such

Hm, actually, I decided against doing that. If I start doing it, there would be TL notes all over the manga, and at that point, I might as well just tell everybody to learn Japanese. The differences between the two languages is just too great, and that's mostly due to nuances and the Japanese language just being a language that leaves a lot to "implications." They really don't like completing their sentences for some reason, but the meaning still gets across all the same. It's actually pretty amazing. English doesn't really allow for that much freedom.

Since when taking someone's nude photo without their permission is ok because she didn't do it for revenge porn, she was just conducting an experiment. With both Haruki and Aya as her lab rats.

And when did I ever mention that it was? I was providing a possible reason for Sei to feel that what she did was justified, not justifying it myself - putting myself in Sei's shoes, so to speak. I've noticed it for a while now, but it seems that you easily get so confrontational when someone doesn't share your opinions. You might want to rein it in a bit. I'm not trying to justify anything. That was your assumption.

Haruki cared about Aya since they were kids. We saw the flashback from their childhood and she had her back ever since. Unless she was planning to seduce her ever since they were 6 or something.

There's no proof that Haruki ever "got Aya's back." Again, that's just your own assumptions speaking. It was one scene that showed that Haruki was kind to Aya, but that single scene doesn't prove anything besides the fact that Haruki just made Aya's self-confidence problems worse, or at least, that's what Aya says herself.

I don't really have a "side" here, so maybe you need to take a chill pill and consider the possibility that not every post here that doesn't agree with you is some type of personal attack, okay?

Nah, I don't buy that. Even if it was possible that that's how it got started, I highly doubt that Sei has any malicious intentions when she shows Aya these gestures. And that's because of your next point - the photo she sent to Haruki.

I still can't forgive the photo post sex send to Haruki in order to taunt her thought, that was pretty stupid move and i don't really understand what she trying to achieve.

Sei did this to confirm her suspicions about Haruki's motives. She even said so herself - she was "doing an experiment" to see if Haruki really cares about Aya's well-being, or just being jealous. As it turns out, it was the latter. I would definitely say that Sei infinitely cares more about Aya's well-being than Haruki does. Otherwise, she wouldn't be doing all this in the first place. It's self-destructive, and it doesn't benefit Sei in any way, but it does, strangely enough, benefit Aya in the sense that if Haruki reports to the police about it or shows the photo to Aya's mom, Aya will be "freed" from her. Unfortunately, I think Aya doesn't want to be "freed" anymore.

My two cents here. Don't worry, I won't spoil anything after chapter 10.

From what I can tell, Haruki doesn't really even treat Aya as a real friend. She never really did care about Aya's opinions on anything and treats her like some kind of baby with no agency and will of her own. When Aya made an "online friend," Haruki didn't even bother asking Aya's feelings on the matter and immediately proceeded to invade her privacy. Also, as Sei pointed out in chapter 9, the reason why Haruki stormed the cafe was not because she cared about Aya's well-being. It was because she couldn't have Aya for herself. Haruki is overly self-righteous, and like most self-righteous people, a massive hypocrite. It makes her an interesting character, but make no mistake, she's no better, and maybe even "worse" than any of the other characters in this story.

As for Aya and Sei, it has been revealed, piecemeal it might have been, that Aya doesn't have any meaningful relationships. Her parents are absentees, and she feels that her childhood friend neighbor is robbing her of her freedom and privacy. Sei, meanwhile, actually makes an effort to treat Aya as an equal (emotionally speaking). While you can see it as Sei trying to get Aya to lower her guard, I genuinely don't think so. Sei is also lonely, suffocated by her horrible work environment and her attachment to a past relationship. Aya's the first person, maybe in a very long time, that she can be open to about her troubles, and that actually makes Sei very, very attached to Aya, even if she calls out Yoru's name during sex. She gave Aya a key to her apartment, bought dishes for her to use, took her to karaoke, etc. While those may seem unimportant, those are the things that Aya longed for - a meaningful relationship. To Aya, Sei is everything, and I can understand why.

But hey, that's just my opinion.

EDIT: This is kind of lost in translation, but Sei sometimes regresses to the speech pattern of a little girl whenever she and Aya does the dirty. As the translator, it's really hard to get those nuances carried over to English. This is also the reason why I believe that Sei is much, much more attached to Aya than it seems like when just reading the translations. I'm sorry I couldn't bring these nuances out, but that's pretty much impossible to do without making Sei sound like an idiot.
