The things you miss when you don't check the boards as much despite being home all the time... (I have no clue why I got so far behind... I thought I was keeping up, but I missed this one!)

I love this one-shot and this artist.

If they are adult and she still hasn’t figured out my lord

So strange that she hasn't figured it out after fingering it out...

There are all kinds of reasons for her to accept the fact that the girl is a vampire. The fact that she's waking up and feeling anemic. The fact that the girl has really, really pale skin, ORANGE EYES, and extremely light-colored hair. Perhaps she has a vague memory of the neck bite before she passed out? The real question is why is she so alright with it?

One explanation is given in the story: She's totally into the chick and wants to do unspeakable things to her, from her perspective, that most girls wouldn't allow her to do... this girl just said she'd do ANYTHING... so... let's face it... Kara actually comes across as a bit of a freak in the first chapter...

There is another one heavily implied in the extra material at the end of chapter 1: "But maybe Kara has a secret of her own too...?" and the 4-koma at the end with Vivi reading Attack on Titan and joking that she wouldn't mind being eaten by a beautiful titan like Kara and Kara getting all serious and asking if she's sure about that. This highly suggests that either Kara is NOT a normal human or she's just really, really wanting to devour the girl... not in a Hannibal Lecter sense of the term...

I think that the point of Chidori encouraging Mai to confess wasn't so much for Mai as it was for Nanoha. Chidori could tell that Mai's intention was to avoid Nanoha like the plague and pretty much disappear from her life, very much like Igarashi did to her back when she was a freshman. I think she felt like, even though she was happier dating Nanoha, she never really got closure with Igarashi until Nanoha forced the issue earlier in the year. And it was clear that Nanoha was starting to feel that way as she sent texts to Mai that went unanswered.

So my take on it was that Chidori was trying to prevent Nanoha from feeling like her friend had abandoned her without any idea why and Mai not having regrets and getting closure was a byproduct of that.

This one reminds me so much of Bofuri, in terms of the clueless way the two of them flirt.

Yeah... you "don't swing that way" and that underclassmen got the "wrong" idea, even though every time you leave Yuzu you blush and think about when you will be able to see her again and when your "friends", who you pretend to be similar to in order to uphold an image, talk about guys all the time it bores you to tears and you just don't see the appeal...

Nope... you don't swing that way. You already swung. You're just that way.

Speaking of wholesome, the scene where they pick the same postcard and gush about it is so darn adorable. They're a nice couple.

Well, ya know... they're pretty much like that...

Where exactly did she kiss her?

joined Feb 18, 2015

I liked it, but having what appeared to be the lead up to drinking with her for her birthday right near the end, with no real separation, like black panels or something, made it a bit strange.

Makes me think of the "Us Right Now" webtoon

True, except the character in "Us Right Now" isn't as immature.

Yeah... they've only been FRIENDS this whole time... Friends who hold hands; sleep together; give rings to one another that they wear on the ring fingers on their right hand, but promise that they'll move them to their left hand someday; and wonder if the other is cheating on them when they see them with another woman... SURE!

Someone on Mangadex answer me about that

I've mostly heard about things like baseball teams, but apparently Japanese workplaces (well, not the small ones, but fairly big companies) do this thing where they get quite serious about the company doing sports and I guess competing with other companies and stuff. It can be a factor in hiring even.

If you have ever read Suzuka, which has track stars as main characters, the topic comes up near the end of that manga as well.

Mei approaches playing games in a totally Mei way, which makes it totally hot for Yuzu to watch... I do wonder if Yuzu approaching studying in her own... special style... has the same impact on Mei or if she finds it frustrating AF? Or if she finds it simultaneously frustrating and hot AF?

I want rin and mayuki end game... idk theyve already kissed and they are both comfortable w eachother, the basketball senpai seems a little clueless to her kouhai and rins feelings.. :/

Um... You understand what the "Polyamory" tag means, right?

And while Akira might be clueless about Mayuki's feelings (that she hasn't voiced yet), you can say the same thing about Rin's cluelessness about Akira's feelings (which she also hasn't voiced, for good reason).

Rin is very clearly a person who is poly to the core. She has ALWAYS had difficulty "picking favorites". When she loves people, she loves equally. She doesn't have the possessive, "I want them all to myself" type of feelings that Rin is currently feeling toward her and that her middle school kohai who slapped her in the face when Mayuki first met her felt.

It is unclear right now whether that is natural for Mayuki or not. She clearly has no problem kissing Rin and I would say that she most likely has started to harbor feelings for her, but I doubt that she realizes that. Her lack of self-confidence and inferiority complex in regards to Akira got in the way of her confession today, and that is probably for the better. Akira's "you have to be better than a pro basketball player for me to want to date you" mindset, at least when it comes to fellow athletes, would probably kick in with Mayuki, at least as an excuse. Either that or Akira would have told her that she liked someone else. But this outcome gives Rin and Mayuki's relationship more time to grow before Akira is involved, which will lead to Rin falling for her more than she already has.

The real question on the path to a poly ending here is Akira. How do we go from "I want her all to myself" to "I love both of these girls"? Is it as simple as RIn telling her that she loves them both and cannot choose and Akira, having heard her story about the girls in middle school, agreeing to give it a try and falling for her kohai? Or will Mayuki win Akira's heart only to realize that she also loves Rin, confess that to Akira after Akira tells Mayuki about her own feelings, and have Akira laugh and tell her that she, too, loves Rin, but she didn't think she would ever return her love so she was planning to move on? Then Mayuki, never one to give up easily, would hatch a plan to make Rin realize that it's alright to love them.

I can see many scenarios and I can't wait to see how things work out!

This was sweet AF! The impact of thinking of each other as "Newlyweds" after ten years of being together making them both fluster like teenagers was the reason this manga was cute.

Looking forward to the next chapter of this. I'm hoping that she simply tells him that she will be coming to the apartment one more time: to remove her stuff.

Finally someone who comes out and states what so many people don't sem to get. "I want to stay friends" does NOT mean "I don't love you, now get out of my life because you make me feel uncomfortable." No, it means "I freaking want to stay friends, wtf did you think I said?!"

Exactly! This was handled perfectly!

I'm pretty sure that isn't supposed to be Shion having sex with her boyfriend. Otherwise, I can't imagine how she'd be coming home eagerly telling him about what just happened with Shion while she was away. It doesn't make sense for her to have just been with Shion and then Shion is there in bed with her boyfriend. Did she run extra fast to beat her home and make sure she got caught? (Granted, if she wanted to make sure Nozomi broke up with the boyfriend that would work, but I doubt that it would lead to the two of them getting together.)

And, as others have mentioned, it's pretty clear that Nozomi wasn't all that drunk when the sex started. Her initial protests were of the "I'm dirty" sort and she willingly extended the time on the room. It's also pretty clear that they had some discussions about living arrangements that Nozomi isn't remembering yet because she kept drinking.

I'm betting that she'll eventually remember telling Shion that she loves her and doing all sorts of things that totally go against her "betrayal" concept.

Yeah... in many cases, like people do tend to congregate together and, so, coincidentally, that "friend" you're crushing on might actually be gay or bi or pan or whatever... but, if you haven't gotten any vibes that they're into YOU... it's still dicey.
