Yes, Suzuma it would be indeed nice to see Seju and Sumin talk.
For the rest I agree with sia ue that it's not really a good way to claim Sumin but I can understand why she would act like this. I'm just hoping she gets it together soon enough.
Seeya I very much doubt Sumin x Seju is gonna happen for the reasons regarding the narrative I mentioned before. Yes, it would require very good writing not to break the narrative and to make it credible. I personally don't think Sumin can just forget all about Sungji and just go back to Seju as though nothing happened. She'll be scarred yet again; by all the pain she caused Sungji. But on the flip side I don't think she can smoothly return to Sungji either... I'm not sure why she came back or who said "things have changed" but if Sumin is going to end up with Sungji she needs to either realize there is no spark left with Seju or genuinely give her self wholly to her. A possible scenario would be for Sungji to dump Sumin, causing her to return to Seju but then realizing that and asking Sungji for one more chance even if she says no. But it's still hard to make her shake off her feelings for Seju that's why I almost believe that maybe the most suitable ending would be for Sumin to end up alone. Maybe that is what a healing story really is a story where everyone heals from their past wounds and moves on.
Also Sungji is quite interesting to me because she seems to be the least developed on purpose just to add a big revelation at the end. It seems like this chapter isn't anywhere near proving me wrong since it's already revealed that Sungji knew about things all along. I don't think this is going to be the only revelation. They kept us completely out of Sungji's mind in order to make you think she is not interesting because there are always details that if you pay attention to you can kind of understand her emotions. Just because she is an honest person and doesn't have a "dark side" doesn't mean she's uninteresting.

Yeah, way too lazy to read the walls of text ya'll posted, so idk if anyone's with me. I'll try to keep my view short this time.
Personally, I'm still rooting really hard for Sumin and Seju being able to smoothly tie up those loose ends, mainly for 2 reasons:
1) Seju deserves this, despite those low blows she dished out in chapter 55. Idek why people suddenly went batshit at Seju after reading that. Compared to some shit I've seen happening in sitches like that, I even think she was still pretty tame. She just went and showed some teeth and claws to Sungji. She threatened her, showed her she ain't gonna give up that easy and she chose one of the most effective ways to do so. Showing Sungji that she still can get into Sumin's pants when she wants to obviously did a pretty good job at showing blondie she's still in that game. Seju might've intended to actually make Sungji break up with Sumin and get away from her (which Sungji might not do, judged by what she said at the end of the chapter) But at least she's managed to make a point that she's not to be taken lightly. How is it you guys can't understand that behavior? Don't tell me ya'll are that kind of goodie two shoes, who'd give up like a coward and go congratulate that other person if the one you love tells you they love you, but they also love someone else. Shit, if I were in that situation, I know I'd probly go grab that other person and have a really nasty heart to heart with them. I'd try to intimidate the shit outta them and make them understand that I won't give up until I played every card, even the hidden, unfair and ugly ones. Nothing is fair in love, people.
That all being said, I get Seju. I really do. And that's why I'm still on her side. And that's why I still support the idea of her getting a happy ending. With all the bullshit she's been through, she deserves this. Even if her getting back together with Sumin seems pretty impossible to me at that point, she at least deserves to not be dumped that cruelly.
I don't think Seju deserves to be unhappy but I don't think she deserves to be with Sumin either. Not that Sumin deserves to be with Sungji anyway. What Seju did was pretty mean towards Sungji I think... Okay, asking for Sumin to sleep with her, okay, I get it. Okay, not caring if Sungji caught them, fineeee but the way she spoke to her really mean. I don't think that's what anyone would do but I can understand her. She's not turning psycho in my opinion but also doesn't mean she's Sumin's perfect soulmate. Even if Seju did deserve Sumin the story isn't about who deserves her the most.
eyeroll
I think Sumin needs a lady-like lover though. Sumin x Nami is a good example of impossible shipping, isn't it?
And I believe the author is going to twist Seju more. What is the point of twisting her this little? Guys, trust me, next chapters we are gonna see Seju saying "I would rather have you killed than let you go." "Kyaaaaaaaaaa, stay away from my Sumin you little b _ _ _ _ if you don't want to die young." XD
come on, I don't think they're going to do something cheap like that! if they do I'm officially calling this story dumb -.-
I think Sumin needs a cute girly-girl ^-^*
Would you make Sumin falter a bit more and then go back to Seju and tell her she can't live without her? Where would her love for Sungji go? What would happen to Sungji? Would you make her give Sumin her blessing? What would happen after that? Would there be Sumin x Seju lovely dovey time and Sumin would magically forget all about Sungji and be able to immediately fix her relationship with Seju without any guilt? Or would the story just end there?
To put it simple, if her love for Sungji is stronger she will stay with her. I just don't like how she is with her now because Sungji is the 'right choice'. Because she wants to fix her life and being with Sungji is the solution and a motivation she needs, if u know what I'm trying to say.
I always felt like she had a bit stronger feelings for Seju. Of course their relationship is really damaged, but if she ends with Sungji, it sould be because she loves her more than Seju, not because she wants to start new.
Not that trying to start over is a bad thing, but when it comes to choosing a partner it shouldn't be the case imo.
But last chapter showed a different side of Seju, and I think they did it so that Sumin finally realises who Seju really is and falls out of romantic love with her.
yeah maybe that is one of the reasons I´m not sure... hmm... but Sumin already ´hated´ Seju anyway...
Yes, I totally think it´s wrong too but there hasn´t been any indication of who she loves more I think. There are lots of flashbacks with Seju which make us think Sumin is constantly thinking about her but these could simply be fleeting thoughts that Sumin has and what we see is just meant for us to understand the story; not to show Sumin's thoughts.
Also, I just said I can't imagine a way for Sumin to end up with Seju but that doesn't mean I think she'll end up with Sungji instead. I just think that if she doesn't end up with Sungji it's more likely she will end up alone rather than go back to Seju.
Sungji can't possibly lose her protagonism; it would break the narrative.
The protagonist depends on the reader here I think. Gaji said the fox is whoever the reader wants it to be, so that's the answer.
I personally don't feel like Sungji is the protagonist, nor Seju. It's Sumin imo, and then both Sungji and Seju are equal imo.
Yes, I remember that but I don't think 'fox' meant protagonist. Sumin does seem like the protagonist but a protagonist must always try to reach a goal and Sumin isn't doing that which doesn't make her qualified as the protagonist. She just seems like it because there is a lot of focus on her. I'm not sure about Sungji and Seju being equal; they could be I guess but Sungji still has more screen-time; especially when you don't count the flashbacks.
In any case, it would break the narrative to get rid of Sungji's role. If Sumin was going to return back to Seju then Sungji would have been treated as a plot device. A character with no depth; and she does seem that way but I think it's deceptive in order to make it unclear. There are a lot of details that show Sungji's emotions and in this last chapter a lot of her personal struggles were revealed. For Sumin to end up with Seju they would have had to keep showing more encounters between them and generally not following any specific pattern with Sumin and Sungji's relationship just to show that she is actually not that important. Sungji is a very important character though.
Switching between Seju and Sungji still makes sense. I'm sorry. XD
Guys who are TeamBlonde fans, are you guys shipping Sumin x Sungji because you are Sumin fans or because you are Sungji fans (or Seju anti-fans :D)? To me, it really is a waste for a woman as good as Sungji to spend the rest of her life living with someone as damaged as Sumin. Sungji can easily live without Sumin, no? Not to mention some insecurities which are highly likely going to happen in their long term.
Yes, um it does make sense for Sumin to do that also you are right about Sungji but this a story. If it was real life that's likely what would happen but what is the point of showing this in a story? Unless they keep showing some sort of interaction between them I don't know... '-'
I'm a Sungji fan. Er... I don't particularly like Seju and I don't understand why people like her so much >.> is it her 'lady-like' personality? Is she more relatable? I remember someone saying that... I personally relate more to Sungji. I'm not exactly TeamBlonde anymore because I don't totally support Sumin ending up with Sungji but I'm definitely not TeamPink. There isn't a way to make Sumin go back to Seju without making you feel like o_o. Besides TeamGaji said they will develop Sungji and Seju more and this chapter focused a lot on Sungji and I think there's going to be more of that. I can't imagine Sungji leaving Sumin and Sumin just happily going back to Seju as though nothing happened... Sumin said she loves Sungji too after all; the fact that it would be hard to be with her and not think about Seju doesn't mean that the opposite isn't true as well. And developing Sungji just to have that ending doesn't make a lot of sense... because she would be irrelevant and yet they are developing her. On the other hand they are developing Seju as a sort of antagonist. To be honest at first when we kept seeing Seju's breakdown I was confused with where the development was going and why they kept focusing on her and I couldn't see the exact reason but this was probably the purpose from the very beginning and it makes sense. If they had kept that development and not made her make such a bold move on Sumin then the roles would have been more blurry, like before. There were already themes that made Sungji very different from Seju in the narrative though so it would have suffered as a result I think. That's why I thought that maybe Sungji and Seju would become friends or something. Because if they had kept developing Seju in the same way (showing her emotions, not making her the antagonist) then having Sumin end up with Sungji wouldn't make sense either. You would be like, okay but what about Seju? is she just irrelevant? o_o
and to be honest to some extent it still doesn't make sense for Sumin to smoothly end up with Sungji unless there is some confrontation between Seju and Sungji and/or acceptance on Seju's part.
I would say it is not because they are not really Sungji fans nor because they do not care enough about Sungji's happiness which is why they ship her with Sumin. I guess, in the context that there is no another potential pairing for her, Sungji fans would choose to ship Sungji x Sumin because it would be way better than shipping her with no one. For Seju anti-fans, they may want to ship Sumin x Sungji because they want a toxic scenario happens to Seju. :D
Um... no '-'... I just... think they are cute together... '-'
I guess Sumin and Seju were as well but Seju seemed to act too lady-like and like an older sister or something at first which was weird considering how she actually is deep inside >.> And please don't tell me their current relationship was cute at all... Just when Sumin started falling for Sungji (if you remember) it was really cute.
Nevermind now though, because Sumin didn't treat Sungji right at all and maybe she's better off without her =.=
p.s I bet the authors will not twist Seju any more and that psycho thing was just her reaching her limit and maybe she will apologize to Sungji at some point (when they both leave Sumin for good XD)

MacySan, you're right, but if Sumin doesn't end up with Sungji I doubt she will end up with Seju either... The story doesn't seem to be hinting towards that and to be honest their relationship seems to be beyond repair...
Yes, I don't think it's possible for Sungji to stay with Sumin and remain sane but if Sumin makes an effort that could be possible. I don't know how Sumin could 'help' her though... at this point helping her would seem pretty hypocritical when she's the one causing her problems -.- When Sumin chose Sungji she knew that she couldn't be with Seju anymore I think (but she fell into the temptation -.-) Also realistically speaking, Seju's issues won't disappear even if she goes back to Sumin. She needs to work them out within herself.
From a narrative point of view Sungji can't possibly be a plot device to make Sumin and Seju end up back together... The story doesn't focus enough on their current relationship for that to hold true. I think maybe this last chapter was not to make Seju seem like a villain but more to establish a clear protagonist vs antagonist relationship which has probably reached its peak and won't be going on for longer. Seju told Sungji all those things a long time ago, we can see that she has been a sort of antagonist all this time; well not her as a person that much but the idea of her in Sumin's thoughts.
If this is really the vision TeamGaji had then I think this is not a cheap way to present it and that it has been showing from before; just more subtly. From the beginning there were too many scenes involving Sumin and Sungji (in the current timeline!) that Sumin ending up with Seju didn't seem to make sense. I know there were TeamPink supporters and there are still but how would you go about making Sumin ending up with Seju?
Would you make Sumin falter a bit more and then go back to Seju and tell her she can't live without her? Where would her love for Sungji go? What would happen to Sungji? Would you make her give Sumin her blessing? What would happen after that? Would there be Sumin x Seju lovely dovey time and Sumin would magically forget all about Sungji and be able to immediately fix her relationship with Seju without any guilt? Or would the story just end there?
Sungji can't possibly lose her protagonism; it would break the narrative. If Sumin goes back to Seju it can only happen at the very end and maybe then cut to the future where we see Sungji meeting them again or something. Maybe this chapter was a bit cliche but I wouldn't judge it too much as it kept the narrative clear and reinforced it even more. Besides, we all thought it wasn't going to happen because Sumin couldn't be such a hypocrite but we were trolled so I guess it has its merits. The point is that from now on it could all go downhill or actually tell an interesting story. If they make Seju a villain that tried to do everything to get in Sungji's way that's going downhill because Seju has done enough already. Trying to seduce Sumin even more is quite possible though. The only reasonable thing to do I would say is for Sungji to finally show what's she's made of and step firmly, telling Sumin she won't tolerate this anymore.

this isn't the usa...? '-'
oh it looks cute! is it a dating sim? when I read nurse I was sure it was going to be some sexual porn thing xD
oh it looks cute! is it a dating sim? when I read nurse I was sure it was going to be some sexual porn thing xD
well, I think it has already been established Sungji isn't a character with zero qualities; just underdeveloped probably on purpose (lets not repeat the same things ^-^*).
whether Sumin chooses Sungji or Seju she's still going to look dumb after all this... and honestly it's not impossible for them to end up leaving her. I find her attractive and all but if I was in Sungji's place I don't know if I could forgive her... and saying that if Sungji loves her enough she will is just... ugh! no! if Sumin loved her enough she wouldn't have done that! If Sungji leaves her it won't mean that she didn't love her enough, it will mean Sumin was too confused (a jerk ^-^*) for her to handle it. Besides their fate rests on Sumin's hands... I'm pretty sure Sumin can make Sungji stay if she makes an effort but it might take some time... If Sungji hops back into Sumin's arms I'm gonna official claim that this story is stupid and beyond help ^-^*
And yeah, I'm TeamBlonde (or TeamNone?) but I really do believe Sumin shouldn't keep those gifts Seju gave her. It might hurt Seju but she's already hurt her a lot so it's only fair to return them and show them that she's serious about leaving... nevermind though, she already messed up big time -.-
Seju is not gonna become a psycho... I refuse to believe this story is going to be that dumb... they just needed this development to make Sungji catch Sumin cheating. To be honest I think it has little to do with Seju (regarding her character development) other than showing she is an "antagonist". However I don't think she's going to keep on being the antagonist. I don't think it's gonna be like that...
I just read the most recent chapter and Sumin is a goddamn idiot, I'm officially tired of her.
^-^''' yeah... I want to say you're wrong but unfortunately there isn't a way to disagree ;_;

MacySan
question XD, is there a Bershka in tsimiski at all? I tried to find it today but I couldn't XD, it wasn't on maps either and my aunt doesn't really know hahah. Don't tell me I have to go all the way to Cosmos T_T also is there Tally Weijl?
By pretending that I have never read all of the Seju's scenes in the flashback in chapter 27, the chapter 48th and the chapter 54th, I can fully agree with whatever the heck Seju's personality development turned out in this chapter.
I personally find Seju's character development way too funny. She brokedown by a few words coming from Nami of all people. "I know why you told me those things. "Were you that scared?" made zero sense, yet it turned out to be true. As if Seju would've known that Sumin was going to leave her because of Sungji. Based on the way Team Gaji has developed her character thus far, I would guess, next chapters, Seju will be able to predict the fact that Sumin x Sungji is going to be endgame, so she will turn into an ultimate evil. Seju will use whatever most cruel means to get rid of Sungji. Her plans will fail though as in any kind of stories, evils will die at the end. Sumin will be indecisive for the rest of her life. It's okay since Sungji will always be by her side anyway. The healing thing of wdtfs is about Seju's father being healed and able to leave the hospital healthily.
Come on =.= that's not gonna happen...
MacySan
I know, haha. If I was hitting on someone I'd ask them to try my drink and insist that it's amazing xD (apparently).
Su
no comments =.=
you sure are fast to ship people XD
I shipped Ratana Satis and Alextasha after I saw a convo of them in the Lily Love discussion thread, so...yeah. XD But seriously, Fay. You ask to meet with another girl and hint at the pride parade. That's pretty much the lesbian equivalent of wanting to casually meet with a guy and mentioning you're single for "no apparent reason." You are so hitting on her! Admit it! XD
'-' is it...? I kinda accidentally asked a guy out once... He was messaging me on facebook all the time and I told him "we're talking a lot on facebook I think we should meet some time!" I just meant that I wanted to talk to him in person because it seemed kind of weird to me to talk on facebook all the time... but then we ended up in a pub instead of the school cafeteria.. >.>
And no, there's a pride in here in some weeks so um! If we both go we could meet, that's the point ><. I think you went a bit overboard with the comparison; for guys it's enough to even tell them "hi" and they think you're hitting on them XD Jk, but it that really the equivalent...? I didn't think saying something about pride parades was considered innuendo... '-'
I'm not hitting on her >< I don't hit on people I haven't even seen! unless it's a joke.
MacySan Su is going to google translate it and make up an even crazier story XD

The Faycy ship will set sail in a few. Passengers should board soon! X'D
what? ^-^; we're not playing that... you sure are fast to ship people XD
^ MacySan this is why I wrote to you in Greek the first time XD. Jk, I don't mind, it's funny :P

no, this is completely out of character and out of the blue. I don't think this was good writing at all. That kiss was a dumb plot device... sigh~ Hopefully Pulse is better because I'm really liking it...
@Fay
Sorry for writing here only for this but I'm too busy for following both threads xD Thought it would be better to say it here instead of official thread.
I don't know where I'll be, my friend also comes and not sure where she wants to stay.
Have fun in your vacation :D
MacySan
Well, okay, haha, just tell me if you have some free time :) I'm gonna be working but it will be 4 hours so I will probably be free most days. I'm proooobably going to go to the pride too but you said you don't really follow that stuff so I don't know XD. Well! I don't mind meeting your friend either anyway if she doesn't mind I mean and if you don't mean and um yeah! ^-^'''
I also don't believe Seju planned the whole scheme for Sungji to walk in on her and Sumin. Because again, it's unnecessary. Before Sumin told Seju that she is cutting tie, I am pretty sure in Seju's head she still believe Sumin will come back to her as usual like all the incidents before. When Sumin said she is cutting tie, Seju really feel how threaten Sungji is. She had a emotional break down. But at the same time, she saw an opportunity to still get Sumin back because Sumin said she love her. That's why Seju asked for break up sex. If Sumin said yes, then that means.
I'm not sure whether Seju planned this or not.. . She might have sent the message before Sumin told her anything. But in any case she did it deliberately even if she didn't plan it
MacySan I just changed my plans because my job in England didn't call me often, so I came earlier. Tell me if you are free some day though :) I'd really like to meet you!!

I'm on holidays ahahah ^-^'''
Well I'll be working soon though!
And I used to write stories but I don't anymore. I plan to draw one for the summer but I have too many ideas and don't know which one to go with... any advice? XD
Vanbun
Very good points! :D You can tell the subtle details they placed on Sungji! I'm sure the last season will be more about her and we will actually see her thoughts and give her more direct development.
I have also seen that scene again and I have perceived the same details.
As you said, when we can see her body, her hand is tense and closed. This could mean that she was containing her feelings. I saw the handbag in the floor too, so, this detail show us that she was in shock when she saw Sumin with Seju in the bed, since she dropped her handbag.
Also when Sungji said "Do you even know how I came to receive these feelings?" In the spanish version, this is the only part that is in capital letter which means that she could raise her voice. Finally, if we did not see her face it could be because she was crying.Definitely, we will see her real reaction in the next chapter since apparently Sumin will not let her go without an explanation, I can say this because of the last image, Sumin arrived and traversed the door to see Sungji.
Yes, I agree, we need to see Sungji heartbroken and angry as well. I think this chapter partly proves that Sungji wasn't well developed as a character on purpose in order to have it as a big revelation afterwards. I hope Sungji listens to Sumin but doesn't act all forgiving. When Sungji says "it can't end the way you want it to" I don't think she means that she'll be the one to get Sumin and not Seju. I just think she means that Seju's relationship with Sumin is broken beyond repair and no matter what she does she won't achieve anything.
btw, MacySan, έφυγες από Θεσσαλονίκη?? ^-^
I loved the way Sumin was changing, how she felt about Sungji and how she seemed to happy with her.. Sumin's lingering feelings for Seju were painful enough as a Sungji supporter to see in the last chapter, but giving in and cheating.. sigh... not that I didn't suspect it would happen but I hoped it wouldn't, I hoped she was above it.
I agree with you. I really love how Sumin and Sungji were developing their relationship.Little and little Sumin started to have trust and to feel one real connection, but now, all is ruined because of the infidelity.
I cannot understand how people try to justify Sumin´s action. They said that she was not infidel because Seju and her did not do anything more than kissing. Obviously they did not more because Sungji arrived.
Sungji is so naive too.. or something.. blinded by love? I love Sungji, and she wants to be happy with Sumin but I don't know..
In this case I think than Sungji was such a strong and mature person how Sumin or Seju could not have been until now. Each word that Sungji said was a slap in the face to Seju. But also, in the next chapter I hope to see a broken Sungji, not because I like how characters suffer. However, Sungji needs to do catharsis about her new sentimental situacion.
I also don't believe Seju planned the whole scheme for Sungji to walk in on her and Sumin. Because again, it's unnecessary.
We cannot say with all veracity if Seju planned than Sungji saw them.
The only things because I think all was a plan are because:
1) Seju was afraid of Sungji, she did not want than the blonde will win Sumin´s heart. (We can see this in the memory about chapter 27)
2) When Seju received the Sumin´s call she knew that something could happen for that she took the ring
3) Her office was open and when Sumin arrived (who is the only person who she hope that night) she did not close the door (Why?)
4) Seju sent the message in the night, the time that she knew Sumin would go to her office and also when Sungji just leave few minutes ago.
Many coincidences to be true!
I think Seju planned this as soon as Sumin told her she was coming or at least as soon as she told her she loved her. Well, lets say she "improvised" it. And tbh, that was very mean of her to Sungji but she did "warn" her and if Sumin was going to cheat on her in a situation like this it was in Sungji's best interest to know... The way she talked is more mean than what she did actually, because she kind of opened Sungji's eyes in a way. Sungji knew all along but I doubt she expected this as I said before; maybe feared it. That's why she says that maybe she thinks it was wrong to have these feelings. I think Sumin is definitely more to blame than Seju is. Seju might speak very rudely to Sungji but I think she understands her to some degree and judged it would be for the better for Sungji to ´get over with it´ because she was sure she´d leave Sumin after this, apparently. And even if she told the redhead´s husband, it's the same, the redhead was a jerk anyway, Seju just gave her a small push. In all honesty I'm just trying to point out that if you step back and look at the bigger picture Seju might not be an angel but even her unorthodox methods are probably preventing a bigger evil. So I don't think this is necessarily to make her seem bad; she does need to have that antagonist vibe to her though and go against Sungji. It was just one chapter as I said before and Seju was needed to be very into the role XD I don't think it was made to look Sumin x Sungji good because they pretty much spoiled it with Sumin's cheating. I think they made Seju kind of evil so that Sungji could break down. Well, though to be honest you could be right and it could go the cliche route but hopefully not.
I'd like to point something else about Sungji I noticed... I keep seeing carefully placed details to suggest Sungji's feelings without directly showing them. They make her so mysterious to us. You all say Sungji is very calm but Sungji doesn't particularly seem like a calm person... She feel off the stairs because Sumin was coming to see her, she cries easily... The right word for Sungji I think would be 'rational'. She can appear to be calm when she really has to. But I think she can also be a bit indirect with her negative emotions and struggle to express them... and breaking down and crying when she can't take it anymore. Okay, have you noticed Sungji's arm when we see her body, she's putting it forward a bit, like she's shocked... but the ultimate detail I found is her bag:
it's on the floor
have you noticed? she dropped it. And I mentioned they're concealing her eyes. For all we know she could actually be crying.
Also "things have changed" is it Sumin that says that... or maybe Sungji...? When Sumin comes in, we don't see the panel so maybe Sungji says that and she is mad at Sumin... I mean if she doesn't get mad at Sumin at this point I'm gonna die. =.=
Also maybe the next season will be about Sungji's and Seju's relation a bit. Hahahha, what if Sungji is really heartbroken and Seju decides to kind of bitterly help her XD?

Every new piece of adult life yuri is like a breath of air as I drown in a sea of high school girls in S-class relationships.
I totally agree. Adult life is my favourite.
I can't help but wonder though if this was an alternate universe and all yuri was adult life, would we be saying the same thing about high school girl yuri? Makes you wonder, right? Or am I just up past my bedtime and under a sleep-deprived high? XD
hm, I wouldn't, I'm not in high school anymore XD
