Why not? Keeping in mind that there is no “correct” translations and that translations can come in many forms from one to one translations to more interpretive translations, I think talking about different possible wording can shed light on the nuances of the original language.

It's amateur storytelling. Basic light novel shit. If you like that sort of stuff it's like any other of its kind and you'd probably like it.

This manga is just simply too good, so I went ahead and got the raw and that means at this stage I have finished chapter 8 (end of volume 2). Obviously I cannot write any spoilers. But I can tell you that what Rinne did in Chapter 6.5, would ended up creating an unexpected but understandable effect in chapter 7. That in turn also started the very first sign of what Ressey, who commented two posts above mine, wrote. indeed. VERY GAY and VERY PLEASED., which is very clear by chapter 8. Anyway, keep reading this manga, you will not be disappointed at all.

People debate characters and their morality. It’s fine. Let people consume works differently and through different lenses. Who cares if some people interact with a work on a deeper level or not like it when a character does something questionable. I don’t. Why do you? A character’s morals can often, and reasonably, impact their appeal as a romantic interest. And that’s important in a romantic centric work.

Go ahead and turn off your brain just cause a work is ‘dumb’. You’re the who care the least why care about how others consume media.

People just keep saying ‘omg it’s fiction stop over analyzing’ but they’re just being assholes. You’re repeating yourselves as much as the people you neg on.

God I love Mask and Kaoru’s dynamic so much. Somehow the author took two of the most different characters possible and intersected them in such a cool and refreshing way. I really hope they get together, or at least find each other a fixture in each of their lives.

Edit: Coming back to comment how seeing our sociopathic girlboss protagonist Tokiko actually experience genuine connection, adoration, and friendship with somebody was so sweet. She cares about her relationship with Natsuki enough to feel anxiety over its trajectory and how Natsuki would see her. Natsuki is everything she needs and they're perfect for each other.
