Preferred work: anything really... not bothered by much in the way of general work and as long as it is in english I can work with it (I don't speak or read japanese or mandarin or anything else besides english and spanish)
Ability to work: I am free most days for a couple hours at least until school starts then I get a little busy some days
About me: currently in college. I am in marching band and if I'm not there I usually am working out, playing video games, or reading manga/watching anime and other books and tv. have never done anything like this before but I'm willing to give anything a shot (except translating... can't do that)

So what exactly are you applying for?
There are three positions available that do not require Japanese:
1) Proofreading
2) Editing (cleaning AND typesetting)
3) Quality Checking

We do not really need proofreaders now, so it's essentially picking between being an editor and a quality checker.
We're pretty strict with both positions, but it's nothing that can't be taught.

Keep in mind that for either of those positions, you're still going to want to check out the editing tutorials, assuming you're totally new to scanlation.
The most important part of any position is not about being initially good, but to be determined and willing to learn time and time again until the result acceptable.
