I don't really know how the manga serialization work in japan. I watch the anime, why the time gap though it is on hiatus or something?

It could be a lot of things but no mention of any reason for the 4 1/2 years publication gap http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/10/07-1/moe-manga-ichigo-marshmallow-returns-with-8th-volume-in-november. Hopefully it'll be a huge hit for us to have anime season 2

Haha I was thinking 10 years ago when the anime airing, I didn't know the serialization still going for a while. Yeah I still have the anime and OVA saved on my laptop that I still watch occasionally.

Never heard of this manga. Are those two girls in the picture? If so, is it yuri then? And who are the girls in the picture? So many questions...
