Pretty decent one-shot with a bittersweet ending, like other people said before, only issue might be the pacing of the story with some authors have issue with when not having enough pages or skill to make the reader not feel rushed pacing for a one-shot.
Also yeah...If those comments on the internet was not in a school group chat and was posted online on a normal general social media site instead...They would be teared apart by virtue signaler (One of the rare times they are actually being helpful instead of being annoying pests most of the time) and the many other 'normal' people that find their behavior disgusting...After all this isn't like the in the early 1920-40 and likely in the 2000s era which is more accepting and such comments would be frown upon (Still minor issues here or there, humans are very flawed creatures afterall but eh better than the past eras)
