Used for works with ambiguous/mixed genders/sexes as a major theme of the plot. Usually isn't paired with concrete labels (Yuri, Yaoi, Het, etc.), but can be in rare cases when the ambiguity isn't overly complicated and is adequately resolved, and when concrete labels aren't a significant spoiler.
Differs from Gender bender in that this refers to uncertainty while Gender bender refers to change.
