I mean I guess technically Corrin isn't related to any of them, but that's really just Fire Emblem having its incest cake and eating it too and smashing all its fans faces in it. But from the jump, the Hoshido family is supposed to be the Related ones, and the Nohr family is the adopted one. But you can romance them all anyway so it's basically playing to the incest fetish no matter how you cut it.

Azura is the only gen 1 character that is blood-related to Corrin. They're revealed to be cousins in Revelations, but no one ever brings it up for whatever reason.

It's a pretty simple reason, really: noone likes it. The reveal comes in a single line in a dlc that came a month after the original game, a reveal that holds no bearing on the narrative, themes or of any importance to the characters in the story itself, even if Azura was already romanced. Why should people care about something so arbitrary?
