Or this is just a big joke and I fell for it.

This sounds like either somebody translated their own work or somebody was imitating that sort of Engrish.

^Yeah, I haven't seen an translation of this caliber on Dynasty before and the text seems like such a direct word to word, phrase to phrase mapping that it's pretty likely they just needed proofreader/editor help.
Then again, it could just be a big joke. I guess It would depend upon whether the author performed the translation without editorial assistance and, if so, knew the associated quality.
