World Trigger. It's in the tags. It doesn't really have even subtext, but there is this team you could swear are all lesbians, especially with some anime-exclusive pillow talk scenes.
As for these two, the girl in the right is Youko Katori, the leader of a team of people who really don't get along, but the one in the left, Hana Somei, is the one who really leads the team and keeps the members in check and seems to be the only person who Youko will listen to. I think that's the reason why they became a ship. That and the fact these two also have a story.
They only appear in the manga, though. Partly due to the anime ending and partly due to the manga going on hiatus due to the author's health (and the anime doesn't have enough material to continue before the manga does). I hope it continues someday.
Either way, I didn't really see them as a couple reading the manga, but this fanart opened my eyes to the ship. lol
