Was there somewhere in the anime that made this ship happen in the first place? I don't recall any of Riko x Yoshiko moments.

I forgot which ep. But it's in 2nd season when they found a dog

^The ship didn't come from the anime, though. It came from extra material.
I'm still ChikaRiko trash, though, even if they barely had any moment in the second season.
Edit: I also love YouYoshi.

What extra material do you mean? Was it just a random ship? I'm still trying to figure out what made this pairing so lovable.

Also the seiyuu seem to influence ships as from what I remember Aikyan (Yoshiko's VA) and Rikyako (Riko's VA) used the nickname Lily (Riko) and Yocchan (Yoshiko).

Why is she giving her daughter 2 fingers lol? (which means 'f*ck off' basically in the uk).

Not sure but the two finger thing seems to be popular with idols and chuuni characters. Perhaps it's supposed to be a victory sign?

^Maybe, but that is commonly used by anime characters and they always seem to correctly use it - with the fingers held the other way round. Is she perhaps going for that one where they hold 2 split fingers up, but hand on the side, in front of their eye?

Personally, it's not super interesting why I ship them. Guilty Kiss is my favorite sub group, with order of enjoyment being Yoshiko, Riko, then Mari, so I ship Yoshiko and Riko.
