Is this series worth checking out?
If you're looking for yuri, it's only gotten as far as subtext and a one-way crush. It also takes awhile to ramp up to that point; it's a fairly long series and still ongoing.
It can be an interesting and enjoyable for readers of... certain tastes. It's hard to say whether you'll like it or not, but at least give it a try.
I probably need to start reading this. It's been recommended to me since I thought the anime was great...
The anime only covers the first few volumes of the manga, where it focuses on social anxiety and cringe comedy. A little more than halfway through the series it starts leaning away from the cringe a bit and towards slice-of-life (though the former is still very much there).
That said, if you liked the anime then I also recommend the manga to you.
To anyone considering the manga, I strongly advise against binge reading. Take it a few chapters at a time.
The second-hand embarrassment will drive you to suicide in concentrated doses.

Nah nah nah, Yuri is into Mako. She's just really weird with Tomoko. Nemo seems to have completely lost it in the recent chapters and might shoot up the school at the rate she's going though.
