Nice - but is this AU? I mean Darjeeling has long hair and is dressed far more casually than she normally would - also, with those dog tags, is this Darjeeling in Kay's American school? Or is she just wearing Kay's tags? (English ID tags are round).

@elevown Darjeeling has long hair in canon they're always braided up. Kay is wearing her tankery uniform except her jacket that is draped over Darjeeling :) I don't see Darjeeling wearing any tags, just Kay who's wearing a pendant.
Ele are you sure you haven't got them mixed up, Left is Kay and right is Darjeeling ;) The rare blonde/blonde cute pair can lead to confusions at times.

^ Lol you are right on all fronts - tho I would say they are deffinatley US military ID tags - which makes sense as something Kay would wear.
And I forgot / didn't really think about the fact Dajeelings hair was braided up hence probably a bit long when not.
Also on hair colour, I thought I remembered Darjeelings being a bit reddish blonde and Kay's being blonder so I got them the wrong way round lol. I checked an ep and both are full on blonde - but Kays is slightly darker.

Yeah it's a military tag dang I missed that. I agree with you in the movie too Kay and Darjeeling are shown to have almost similar hair color, Kay's a bit darker than Darjeeling but in different movie scenes it's hard to tell, not that these two have that much screentime to begin with. Acc. to wiki though Kay is strawberry blonde.

i haven't even watched this show but I flipping LOVE this pairing XD id imagine kay was taking the lead (given all the marks on Darjeeling's neck lol) and was surprised when Darjeeling suddenly pulled her in by her tags to kiss her XD

There are some Yuri fanarts so good out there that they make me ship the couple drawn without even having watched the anime/read the manga/played the game the chatacters originate from.
