Fun fact: a giraffe's tongue usually measures 18-20 inches. It's black in colour to prevent it from getting sunburnt (they really spend that much time with their tongues out!), and during mating season, male giraffes use their tongue to taste the females' urine, to check if they're ovulating. Nature is super gross.
