Nah, The Handmaiden is different from The Handmaid's Tale. I haven't watched either yet, but, from what I understand, The Handmaiden is a Korean lesbian movie about romance between a poor Korean orphan and a rich Japanese heiress whereas The Handmaid's Tale is an American feminist book/show about a dystopian America where women are only supposed to make babies and all that shit (I don't know the specifics, so this is probably grossly inaccurate). I heard both are great, but, yeah, the concept of the latter makes me kinda queasy to be honest... maybe I'll give it a shot some time though.
