While I very much approve of the idea, this looks like only one character is feeling anything of the romantic nature. : / Akko looks like she's just being Akko. Hell. If you said just Diana was a total lesbian or bisexual, I'd almost be happy with that alone if not for the lack of animated yuri relationships.

@Omega Deuse I think Netflix is going to show the TV series once it's done
@Wlfking it is implied in the anime that they care for each other more than anything and they eventually getting closer. Even if Akko just being Akko in the picture, still, I guess this being official is more than enough :D

Official doesn't necessarily mean canon. Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, I just want everyone to keep their expectations in check.
Pieces like this mean someone(s) in the production staff are interested in or at least like to entertain the idea of a lesbian relationship in the series. Whether or not that idea makes it through the rest of the production pipeline (namely past the editor and executives) into the series proper is a whole nother matter.

so there was an interview about if there is a second season for this show and some things that wont be in for sure is romance, BUT when talking about romance in the show " ....if akko needs that kind of development she already has Ursula and Diana" so there its half cannon :P
