its because it hurts , thats why theres such litte fanart , in the end izetta became old and on a chair shes had a tiny lifespam ahead of her and that Finne loves her makes it unbearably painfuul tho

BakemonoJoker She did not become old... she is in a wheelchair because she lost the ability to walk after Sophie beat her in their first encounter. It was because of the injuries she sustained in that particular combat. She was only able to walk afterwards because of the magic she was able to wield once she was given the other half of the stone, so it stands to reason she is once again unable to walk after draining the world of all remaining magical energy. The usage of the stone does not age her, it just shortens her lifespan.
But yeah, you are right on the tiny lifespan thing, in all probability. Considering she pulled such an enormous, never before attempted feat, using an item that sucks her lifespan proportionally (as in, the more you use it, the more it sucks away, as is implied). Especially when you consider that Sophie died before she even approached the size of magical crystal Izetta produced, effectively running out of lifespan to sacrifice (although that was in large part because she used the stone longer than Izetta, so she had less to go on, but in any case, it does not bode well for Izetta's lifespan).
