On another note: Kaguya probably insisted on looking so Mokou killed her to keep her from getting hurt. The killing went back and forth for a while and finished with some hate sex.

I'm pretty sure most of them only fly when they're actively putting power into flight. If she were caught of guard, she might not remember to fly until she hit the bottom. It's not like there's be much time between starting to fall and hitting the spikes.

^ A fair point. Still wouldn't do much to an immortal who has been "killed" multiple times. Pain is probably like a drug at this point. Full of raw emotion but signifying nothing.
