@S.Miki: The nick is due to the fact that the actress Seychelle Gabriel (who voiced the character), said that the name sounded like "Salami" to her. :)

Her form seems fine though. Squats are a full body lift. You have to bend that far forward to incorporate the upper body.

@YeShallBeAsGods : if you bend that over you risk to sprain the lower muscles of your back and put too much pressure on your spinal discs, also both the hands and legs are in the wrong positions.
The hands are too far from the shoulders, they need to be more closer because that's help to have a better control and to have the barbell balanced on the upper part of the body and have a perfect core.
The legs, particularly the knees shouldn't be open like that, this is dangerous for the ligaments and also helps the abs, trunks and costal muscles to maintain the back as straight as possible and avoid any possible injuries. :)

Ack. Don't do that. The back should be rounded forward rather than back, granted it's not here. Check the form for a standard bar bell squat. You've described the form for a squat with no weight, but that's a completely improper squat for using a bar bell. The legs should be open so you can dip down and get your knees to a 90 degree angle. If your shoulders are back and your butt is out there's no pressure on your spine. You get more muscles involved with your arms apart. Check any video of a power lifter squatting or a form chart. Your way can work, but it won't give you a proper workout. But absolutely don't keep a straight spine, you'll fall over backwards if you can actually manage to squat low. I do these at least twice a week, so this isn't just theory.
Do you even lift, nee-san?

Sorry but you're talking of Powerlifting, when I'm talking of a parallel form for squat for bodybuilding when you need to have the back straight and balancing the barbell when going down over the 90° degree, this way you can train also the quads and the buttock, of course there's a little bending in that phase or else you will lose balance, but the back never will bend, being always straight and in control.
This year will be my 20th years of practice with a personal best of 200 kilograms I think i know of what I'm talking, you need a straight spine or bending too much will cause you more problems in the future. ;)
