A moment of silence for the protagonist that Atlus seemingly forgot about after they made the game. Doesn't even have a canonical name.

At least she exist. I was a bit disappointed that persona 4 golden didn't follow suit with a female protagonist.

She wasn't completely forgotten because she showed up in 2014 in the stage play. Still, her not being in Persona Q was rather lame considering that Theodore is (also in Persona 4 Arena).
Fans seem to also remember her more than Maya from P2 in Protagonist-only fanart which is rather odd since Maya is the Protagonist of the second Persona 2 game.

^That's because Persona 1 and the two Persona 2 games might as well not exist with the huge gap in popularity between them and Persona 3 onwards.
I was referring more to this recent picture when I say she's been forgotten:
"Yeah! Shigenori Soejima drew all of the Persona protagonists, right?! Th-that's all of them, right?!"

I think it's a shame that Persona 1 and (especially) 2 are not as popular as the new ones.
Regarding that pic, when I ran across it a while ago I was shocked to see Maya in it, but then I remembered it was an official pic by Soejima and not a fanwork so Maya gets to exist. I do wish Hamuko would not get written out of existence. I love her battle theme (and her other tracks).

I like her just because Persona 3 made a whole lot more sense playing as her. I can easily buy into the idea that this cheerful, upbeat girl is a social butterfly with all those social links rather than this aloof guy; it feels more natural. She has more dialogue options, better soundtrack, and better social links. It's just a better overall experience even without the yuri that was added in.

Only version of P3 I played was P3P and that was because of the female protagonist option. I wish I could like her. ;_;

and to this day we still cant get a female main character to the series to an ACTUAL MAIN game (not sub mini series's). Whats even sadder is that she didn't even get to appear in Persona Q and Theodore did lmao. Its's like saying "yeah she only existed for a bit but who cares she isnt important!" Sad life of female PSP Persona 3 protagonist, forever to be not canon.

Ahem, we had Maya in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment which is very much a main game. Persona 2 is two main games.

They play differently (more like other SMT games) but the characters are neat. You can get Persona on PSP. For Persona 2, there is a fan patch for the PS1 version of Innocent Sin and an english PSP version. For Eternal Punishment, there is an english PS1 version and I think people are working on a fan patch for the PSP version.

Persona 2 has two parts yes (best way to say two chapters lol) you are correct but if you played the games than you would also know that there are a major change in both part regarding decision making which took away a lot from (yes it was a great experience) I still love the game to death for I dont think that part 2 did a lot of justice for having a female main which felt kind short. Even with that I like to call part 2 of Persona 2 kind of a sub story (even if it is the second chapter) that is still part of the main game. But I am talking about having a game fully from start to finish with the option of a female (at least) if not to at least have a female main who is involved at a deep leble like every main from all the persona series are. Regardless I am a sucker for all Persona games so i will continue to buy them and play them regardless of who is the main lol XD. Just would be nice to have an actual female main for once lol

I wouldn't say it's a sub story since the big thing at the end of the first game kinda makes the second game the main game.
But yes, I would love it if they had another female main character. Part of the reason I am not really excited for 5.

^ i agree, though I can't lie and say I am bit exited but I also am a bit desapointed. (Moving away from the main) I am also worried that the game will not feel like a persona game. BUT maybe I am over reacting. Persona 5 show lots of promising so I am excitingly waiting till it's released day. Maybe after this game they will finally decide to make one with a female main lol. The only thing I'm worried is that when and if they do decide on making one with a female main game developers tend to screw up the games with female leads. But anyways moving on.

Persona 6 , we need it naw and make it a female protagonist by default and add male mc too but as aditional , and make it that so we have multiple branches of have we could finish the game , and make it so both protags can do whataver they want , date whoever they want AND a sistem that'd make other characters interactions bond with each other ... love duh :D

^I think you're really cutting Atlus too much slack. Those easy demands will barely challenge their limited budget and time at all! Like this they will only have to crunch 20 hours a day. We can squeeze out 4 more hours.
