The fact they threw in this canon couple makes up for all the possible shortcomings of Brave Witches.

Soooo, Brave Witches has an actual honest-to-goodness canon yuri couple, huh? I mean, it just seems like worthless ecchi drivel to me, but maybe I'll give it a shot some time if it has canon yuri.

Shouldn't it be tagged brave witches really? I know it's the strike witches universe but this squads anime is called brave witches after all.
^Breakdanceanomicon as the tag says brave witches is a strike witches spin off - takes place at same time, has a few guest appearances.
^Minutoh - do you include strike witches in that? Brave witches has less fan service than strike witches - season 2 of strike witches plus the movie & ova's also had notably less than season 1.
I wouldn't call even season 1 an ecchi anime though it's too tame - just a lot of over the top fan service (chest and panty shots, wearing swimsuits etc), but there is lots more to it. The series would be better without it but they just make me roll my eyes or chuckle wryly - I don't think even teenage boys like stuff so silly do they?
The take away though is the show is good in many other ways (esp s2) like the characters / action / animation / VO, music, strong yuri subtext etc that the silly fan service stuff only detracts from it a little for me.
You can start with s2 if that stuff bothers you more than me, there is a lot less of it bar 1 throw away ep.
Brave witches has even less but I didn't like the characters nearly as much.

elevown, well said sister..or brother. But yeah, I hope people would notice what World Witches' have to give. I specially love Brave Witches more cuz yeah Nipa is there and it depresses me that it ended but the last ep is such a killer. And I hope Dynasty people would upload more NipaSha pics :) And yes, Brave Witches would be a nice tag or add World Witches, since they're planning to do animation of the rest of the Joint Fighter Wing. Thank you very much.
