I ship Darjeeling with Orange Pekoe because of the official spin-off manga. Where does this ship even come from? I don't remember them ever even sharing a scene!

^Yup they don't that I remember - at least in the anime. It comes from thinking the super gregarious / friendly / casual etc personality of the American Kay would be really interesting with the prim and proper upper class British girl.
