Nico wears the cardigan for the same reason she says nico nico nii. Her father is pictured wearing a similar one. for Nico, quite a lot is about her dead father. She's wearing a miniature of her current one in that picture, too.

There is a headcanon about Nico being malnourished. Malnourished people apparently feels cold most of the time, yet when you stick to them, they’re actually pretty warm. This applies to Nico still being cold despit wearing her cardigan in winter and in summer.
But hey idk bout dat so pfft

^ that’s not a matter of being malnourished, but rather a combination of high metabolism + low body fat. Low body fat doesn’t necessarily = malnourished. I’m sure Nico gets her nutrition because an idol, or any athlete really, cannot function without it.
