Btw what's hidden under that bubble - something stage? Was Maki thinking next stage in their relationship - i.e being intimate I guess lol? But I can't figure what small word fits that to make sense in that tiny space missing.

Most people would be saying "thinking of marriage." A teasing, prurient person would have been saying "thinking of some OTHER stage?" But because it's Nozomi, unfortunately, what's really being said is "fucking off-stage."
