I've dreamed of them having an epic hollywood kiss for a while now, but did anyone notice that Homura is pointing a gun directly at Madoka's soul gem? That her finger is on the trigger? And they appear to be inside a witch's barrier?

I think what hapened was witch-homu was gonna try and kill madoka but madoka surprise-attacked.

Sad though it may be, a more likely scenario is that Madoka requested to be killed, then handed Homura her glove and kissed her after Homura hesitated. I just can't see this configuration happening otherwise, nor do I think Homura would ever try to attack Madoka.

You can see part of her left arm behind Homura's gun. Her right hand would be just below Homura's shoulder I think, although the artist should likely have showed a little bit above the gun on the right.

I love this so much, I'm so glad I bought a print of it at my city's anime convention, I never bought any before. Definitely put it up my wall. I'm really happy it got uploaded here, it's super pretty, never seen it before the con. The artist's a lovely lady, very friendly, she draws great stuff (◡‿◡✿)
