It's the baes! LiS is my favorite game ever, and ep 5 is actually my favorite. The game does get kinda dark, especially near the end, and there are fairly adult themes throughout. No buts. It's actually a pretty dark game. Not like Corpse Party or anything, but y'know, dark for western audiences. Thing is, if you don't care about the characters, the game will be really shitty. But if you love the characters, then it's the best game ever made.

finally some Pricefield here. It's a very good game. The characters are relatable, and you get very attached to the ones you like, especially because you have a chance to interact with all of them, even if they are small characters who don't have a big role in the plot line. It gets pretty sad and I know very few people who didn't feel heartbroken when they saw Chole after they saved her dad in the past and went back to the future . And tbh I know why people didn't like the ending. But I think the creators wanted to do a "it's about the journey not the destination" kind of end, personally I liked it though. (yey am i a generic YT game reviewer now?)

Thanks to everyone for the info, I'm still a lot confused to whether play it or not... let's say it's on stand by... I really want to know but knowing myself, if it's really sad, it's better not to know. Like for most animes I won't watch it but I will enjoy the yuri doujin! ^^

Honestly the game was pretty meh, the writing and dialogue was pretty bad,the dialogue was just so cringey at times. And the endings could of been better. If it wasn't for the Max and Chloe ship I would have dropped the game tbh

^Agree with this post tbh, voiced actors phoned it in and the character models were so terrible, couldn't emote at all, found it difficult to empathize with lifeless dolls. No meaningful branches either. Glad I pirated it, lmao.

Fuck, I was just thinking about requesting some Pricefield images. I ship it so hard, I just hope it's not some lesbian tease. On sidenote: I liked the game. It has solid plot, nice intrugue and variety of generally likeable characters, although some were really stereotypical and meant to only fill some cliches. I liked how writers dosed the tension in later episodes. Ending was indeed kinda meh, I mean I haven't seen the "Kill Chloe" ending, but sacrificing AB is just Chloe and Max riding out of town and... that's it? We don't know who the hell died, who made it alive, this entire tornado thing smells too much like "Final Destination" - ooops, you saved somebody who was supposed to die, now they have to die anyway! - mixed with "The Butterfly Effect" where mc is jumping between various points in the past to fix things but the effect is the exact opposite. I just hope that killing Chloe won't be canon ending for season 2

The game left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth though I did kinda like the experience. Basically if you don't like Max x Chloe ship you won't like it and the ship never really made sense. Being a lonely childhood friend doesn't nearly justify all the shit Max did for her throughout the game which was basically challenging god.

The the only reason I didn't sacrifice Chole was because I knew she was supposed to die that week, but I felt like it was so much shit I went through to save her and I was fine with killing the whole town to keep her alive. Plus I got attached somewhat. Coolest character was Frank though.

The ending made sense and was forshadowed through the entire game. The developers were adamant about keeping the main characters female and queer, and for that alone I support them. Also, the studio is French so like...you know it's going to be dark and heavy and death everywhere.

After my second playthrough of episode one, the writing and dialogue really grew on me. I loved all the characters, except thou shalt not be named and wamren, and I also totes ship Vicxine. I wrote Social Anxiety. The reason I played the game at all, though, was because I played and loved DontNod's last game, Remember Me. Why can't we get some yuri from that? It deserves way more attention than it got. LiS came about from the idea that the developers wanted to the the Remember Me remix gameplay and turn it into an entire game, kinda like Black Flag after ACIII. But LiS was such a great game. Of course there are flaws, but it's easily my favorite game. It hurts me when I see people saying bad things about it, like with the dialogue that I absolutely loved (you're gonna get in hella more trouble for this than drugs!), but I get that it just didn't get to peoople the same way it got to others. The last time I cried that hard was when Dawngate was cancelled.

I got teary eyed when I was given the ultimatum. Sat there for 10 minutes talking to myself, before saying "fuck it" and chose Chloe over the Bae. She was the only one Max ever loved. I decided that if having Max be with Chloe was an assholish thing to do, then I would be content with being an asshole.

But I had to play the other choice...much regret. I cied like a puss during my second playthrough and sacrificed Chloe. That was definitely the most heartbreaking (and making all my efforts to keep Chloe alive pretty much null and void. Thanks. . .thanks for making me feel like every thing I did for Chloe was for nothing. . .THE FEELS =.=) thing I've seen in any game.

11/10 would play through again and again (and I plan on it) also was listening to Obstacles when I opened the image up. . .got real sad. . .goddammit.
