Oh, didn't notice the Polyamory tag. Interesting.
I guess it makes more sense than Threesome for non-NSFW works.
Edit: thinking about it, threesome does make sense considering it's a term that can be used when referring to a group of 3 people. It's just that it's more often used in a sexual connotation, so I guess Polyamory is more convenient for 3 people loving each other without any "action" necessarily involved. I'm overthinking this way too much
