Why is she named Hijiri and not Byakuren? Isn't that what they usually call her?

^ Her full name is Hijiri Byakuren (her surname being Hijiri). It seems the choice to use her surname over her given name was made a while back when her main pairing was Shou, and Shou refers to Byakuren as 'Hijiri'. More recent pairings — Miko and, to a lesser extent, Eiki — refer to her as 'Byakuren'. She sits in a strange place where about the same number of people are likely to call her by her surname as by her given name.
